Question Favorite Dance Dvd?

Hi all! So I've been doing a lot of WATP dvds lately and have enjoyed them, but would like to add some dance workout dvds to my library to mix it up a bit. Anybody have a favorite or two they would recommend?

I just bought Dancing with the Stars because it was a top seller on amazon, I watched it but didn't try it. I've tried some others with the dance them, salsa, etc and don't seem to stick with them as I prefer kick boxing, bootcamp and weight training. If you go to amazon you can see the top sellers there, or check out some at netflix if you are a member.

I haven't tried it myself, but Shaun T, the Hip Hop Abs guy has a new set of videos called Rock something or other that are dance workouts. A friend of mine recommended them. You can look them up on the beachbody website.

This might sound totally odd but if you're looking for a fun (funny) amazingly surprisingly cardio workout I recommend Barbie's Dance Workout from the late 80's/early 90's. It's on vhs and you should be able to get it on-line. It even has jennifer love-hewitt in it from when she was like 10 years old. Sounds crazy but i love it! I had it as a child and one time on a whim i found it and did it just for fun but holy crap!! I was sweating and out of breath and it was freakin hard! but i really like it because it has awesomely bad 80's dance moves and music. i personally love it and can't wait to go home and do it a few times next week! It's completely cardio though.

my daughter told me about a fun workout by Carmen Electra it's actually called striptease and one is lap dance, lol, but they are fun to do and after a while really makes you feel more confident, the guys might not like doing these though lol they sell them at Bestbuy

Try Petra Kolber's 3-2-1 Dance. I just did it for the first time yesterday and it was so much fun I was smiling the whole time. You can watch a preview clip at Collage Video. Her cueing is excellent so even though it was my first time I was able to follow along and keep up.

I like Core Rhythms, Crunch Cardio Go-Go Dance, and 10 minute solutions: Dance It Off & Tone It Up. These DVDs keep me so active and are a lot of fun!
