Glad to see so many of us here!

I am still waiting from mine...I should have ordered it on ebay instead of through Beachbody but in the heat of the moment I just wanted to order it and make sure I didn't back out! Any luck ordering it on ebay, Lisa? I made the mistake of checking there after the fact and it seemed you could find the complete program at a great savings.

mmnby, How is it going so far?

Martini, we would love for you to join us! The more of us working together, the more success we should have!

dfyellets, I think you ordered a day or two before me so hopefully mine will be here soon. I cannot wait!

Cannot wait to get started!

I want to know what this series is!
I have never heard of any of these..

Update: Well Today is technacally day 4, couldn't get myself to do it yesterday, I was just way too sore so I took a day off and did 2 miles/30 mins on my gazelle. I felt pretty bad about missing a day when I woke up this morning which is a good sign cause normally I don't feel anything when I don't exercise! So I counted yesterday as my day off. Today I woke up and moved on to RIU, just to see if I could do it. It was rough, but I survived. More importantly I can't wait to do it tomorrow! I feel fantastic!

Does anyone else have an update or just started? Is anyone else taking the Slimming Formula or doing bodybeach suppliment stuff?

dfyellets 04-10-2007 03:33 PM

Well i did my first workout today. Boy it's been a while since i've done that. And even though it was hard it made me feel real good that I did it. I tend to start these different plans and i'll stick with it for a while but i tend to lose interest. But hopefully with all the Sixer's here I'll stay on the path. All you can do, is what you can, right?:carrot:

Hey girls, just poking in! I'm not doing the whole Slim in 6 routine -- did it once a few years ago, and have since found things I like better -- but I have been doing Slim and 6-Pack. I love this ab routine!

Good luck everyone!

mmnby 04-11-2007 11:01 PM

Kinda hard today to motivate myself but I did. I just finished RIU and slim & limber. I wanted to try out 6 pack but my abs are still to sore and weak to handle it. I did notice that I have a bit more stamina then before. I'm able to go for longer, especially with the arms and crunches. Only hit pause 2 times today.

dfyellets: How are you feeling after day 2?
cydj21: Did yours come today? Are you still excited to get started?

dfyellets 04-12-2007 03:08 PM

Well after day two I'd have to say OUCH!!! Boy that really works your legs.
Which is good.don't get me wrong. I was a little slow at getting going this morning. But that's because my son was up all night getting sick then I had to get up and go to school pretty early. But when I got home from class I did my workout for today. So i'm happy with myself. Usually when it starts to hurt thats when I quit. But not this time...Let me know how all of you guys are doing. Keep in touch.

mmnby 04-12-2007 11:08 PM

Done day 6 with RIU and slim & limber! Abs still get sore during workout but can do a few more reps, same with my arms. I'm losing inches but not weight. But hey, I'm loosing inches!!

dfyellets: Congrats on not quitting, it gets better. Just keep pushing play!

cydj21 04-13-2007 09:29 AM

No, it still has not come! It has been almost two weeks - so frustrating!
With that said, the tracking says it is out for delivery so I should be able to start today! :D Yes, you bet I am still excited. I cannot wait!

For those who might be lurking and considering starting Slim in 6, definitely check out beachbody.com for information but order on ebay! The price is much less and the shipping wouldn't have taken this long, I can almost guarantee it.

Looking forward to joining you all...Keep up the great work!

Today I started with S&L did RIU (but not the stretching and yoga at the end) and did S&L again. I prefer the S&L stretching better then the yoga stuff. My abs are still getting sore, I can only do maybe 4 more in total then a couple days ago. I just didn't realise that I was that much out of shape. But I guess I am.

I'm also thinking about ordering Hip Hop Abs. I'm not bored of SI6 but I'd like to try to do more. Anyone have suggestions on how to strenghen my arms so I can get through RIU? there is so much arm work, they just tire right out. Or is it a case of just keep doing what I'm doing and they will get stronger?

dfyellets: How did day 3 go for you?
cydj21: Did you get to start day 1?
lottalisa: Did you decide to get the series?
Martini79: Are you using SI6?

Remeber kpp!

I did finally get my Slim in 6! I opted not to start today though because a) it was late before I got home and got it opened and b) tomorrow we're traveling for a surprise birthday. Being on the road for over four hours will complicate things a bit. Also, being a grad student and given my class schedule, it will work out best to have my off days on Saturday because they are typically days when there is a lot going on...especially this time in the semester! We've got company coming the next few weekends in a row and I'd be fooling myself to think I'll actually work out in the mornings when my tiny house is filled with people. Rather than set myself up for failure, I'm going to start on a day when success is more of a sure thing.

I am, however, definitely starting this weekend (Sunday) and am still super excited! I immediately busted open the box tonight and spent quite a while reading through all the materials. I also caught another viewing of the infomercial and the combination of the two has me very excited.

Keep it going for those of you who have started! I'll be joining soon and you can expect a lot more optimism and enthusiasm on the days you're feeling down...I'm pumped and ready to go and I'm going to help you all do the same!:carrot:

dfyellets 04-14-2007 01:21 PM

cydj21- That's great that you finally got your videos. Good Luck!!

mmnby- Day 3 wasn't that bad. I find myself being able to go longer without stopping. All good things take time. I just want to wish everyone well in this path that we're on. Good luck to all and talk to ya soon.

I'm officially on the way to being Slim in 6! :carrot:

How is everyone doing so far this week? So far, Start it Up was a bit more of a sweat-inducer than I had anticipated. I've been doing a lot of cardio so I didn't expect it to get me sweating that much in just 25 minutes. Ooohwee I was mistaken! I think I'll do it once more before moving on to Ramp it Up...I'm pretty sure that it's going to kick my butt! If I start complaining it's hard someone needs to set me straight...the whole reason I wanted to start this program was because I was getting lazy and confused at the gym and needed someone to kick me into gear. With no money for a trainer, this was my solution.

Did everyone take measurements and weigh-in when they started? How will you know how Slim you got in if you don't compare? Make sure you do!

cydj21 04-17-2007 09:18 AM

How's it going this week everyone? Keep pushing play!

mmnby 04-17-2007 11:01 AM

Morning all.

cydj21: I'm so excited for you!! You got it!! How do you like it so far?
dfyellets: Making progress?

I did day 9 on Sunday, but I'm still having problems with pain in my mid-back and abs so I'm temperally stopping SI6 so that I can completely focus on strengthening my core with my body ball. I've also ordered Hip Hop Abs (+ the bonus pack) and I am going to give that a shot before returning to SI6.

I noticed that I only have the pain when I am down on my exercise mat. When we do the standing crunches I have no problems at all. So I will give HHA a try then return to SI6 when my abs and back are in better shape.

I will keep coming to this thread though cause I'm excited about everyones progress and am curious about the results you will all get after 6 weeks. (I admit it, I'm kinda jealous!).

Anyways, remember kkp! :carrot:
