Exercises On The Ball....
I Bought A Stability Ball Months Ago....I've Had Tried Several Times To Use It With No Luck. I Got The Push-Ups Down To An Artform....As For Crunches I Can Do Several And Not Feel A Thing. So Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions Of An Exercise Video I Can Buy To Go Along With This??? :?:

Juliette,
I just got a stability ball and the video Quick Fix - Stability Ball Workout, with Keli Roberts. It has three segments: one for the lower body, one for the upper body (you need dumbells for more effectiveness), and one for the abs; each are ten minutes. I didn't find it very challenging but it's a good place to start, and it's fun. :) |
I like the Core Secrets stability ball workouts. Gunnar Peterson is very motivating with a dry sense of humor. The intro workout has plenty of form pointers.
Have fun! Shery |
I just use my wall chart LOL.

The Method for Stability Ball is a good one. The instructor has a nice style and other people w/her show modified poses. Plus the scenery is nice. Different segments in the video for abs, arms, cool-down, etc.

Denise Austin has a "Hit the Spot - Core Workout" that utilizes stability ball and dumbbells - 3 mini-workouts (core & upper, core & buns, core & legs) and one slightly longer comprehensive workout (segments from the first 3).
I liked it a lot; but I like most of Denise's workouts too (others feel differently about her "supportiveness") |
I second the Hit the Spot by Denise Austen. I thought it was a good workout, and she didn't irritate me on this one, although sometimes she does.
