Welcome Rockinrobin!! I hope you enjoy the WATP videos as much as I have I've been doing them for one year now. I started out with a 1 mile walk just because it had been so long since I'd done any exercise and I have sooooo much weight to lose I was worried about being able to get through much more than that. I did the one mile for about a week then moved on to two miles and did that for another couple of weeks and then found a 3 mile. It's easy enough to just jump right in, but challenging enough to grow with you.
Still feeling cruddy today. Probably moreso today than yesterday, but I'm not going to let it stop me!!! I did the 3 mile super fat burning WATP with 2 lb weights. Gotta say it was tough getting through it feeling yucko, but I managed.

Morning everyone. IT's FRIDAY!!! I know it was a "short" week but I hated getting used to getting up in the mornings after 2.5 weeks off.
I did 1 mile walking, 2 miles jogging and the ab lounger this morning. After work yesterday I did the 1 mile yoga walk. I've decided for now to stay at 3 miles and do a mile or two after work. 5 miles in the morning was tiring and I don't feel like pushing that much at this point. So 4-5 miles total working out 2X a day.

Today was my first official day doing WATP. I did the 1-mile express as a warmup and then I did the Accelerated Fat Burning Pilates workout. I feel great! WATP is really a great workout and it goes so quick, I cant wait to do the 2-mile workout tomorrow!

Did the 2 mile walk and kick this morning. I made it through, but not sure it was a smart idea. With this cold I was having trouble breathing and now my head is pounding. Blech.

Good evening, walkers! I chose my IFIT workout on the treadmill this afternoon and then added another 25 minutes for a total of 55 minutes today!
I may even do a WATP later tonight!
Have a great weekend!

Hi ladies! Wow it's been about a year since I've been on the board. Coming back post injury and pregnancy so I'm just getting back on track. Planning on starting back to WATP on monday. Not sure when I'll get back on the eliptical because my knee still isn't liking it so that'll probably wait another month or two.
Since Ciencia is only 2 months old and isn't giving my much free time I'm setting a very easy goal of 30 miles for the month.
Anyways, just wanted to jump on the thread and say hi to everyone. Hope your all doing great.

Hi jocey and ambabs. Great to see you!!!
Karen, please tell me you're using your inhaler before working out??? Chest cold and asthma = albuterol before a light workout. BTW, I forgot my inhaler before snowshoeing this afternoon and I feel it now.
So DH and I took the huskies out to the mountain to snowshoe. They're pooped and so am I. They ran through the snow like possessed sleddogs (oh, that's right they are sleddogs without the sled). We had a great time.
PurdueGirl, do you like Pilates? I keep trying it and Yoga and just can't get hooked. I even bought a Pilates Performer which I hated on first use and now it's in the shed. I know it would b so good for me. Any words of wisdom to truly get into it?

Hi all, I did 6 miles on the exercycle this morning. It's great for the quads and I thought that would be a good addition a couple times a week for skiing.
Edited later in the afternoon - I also did a 2 mile walk with the doggies.

I actually am just really getting into Pilates...I purchased the DVD awhile back, watched it and decided it was too hard but once I decided to really get serious I gave it a try and now Im hooked. I know its not for everyone but I love the relaxed feeling I get during and after. Ive always liked stretchy type exercises and I used to do yoga in college, so I guess its always kinda been my thing. I dont have any words of wisdom, I think Pilates is one of those kinds of workouts, either u like or u dont!
