Newbie

Im 37, 5'3" and weigh between 128/130. I had 4 kids in 5 years and dont look too bad....size 4/6 (soft belly and back tho). I have been working on taking off 10 lbs for a few years now. Ill drop 5, and gain it right back. Ive been excercising like crazy (weight training/areobics/step whatever will break a sweat) every day, but still...scale is stuck and moving up on me. 128 is usually my max but it just keeps creeping up. My basic diet isnt too bad...I like heathy foods, always have....probably could cut back on the peanut butter tho (what is it about peanut butter that makes it sooooo addictive? They putting crack in that stuff or what?) Alot of the diets ive read about seem like they would work great if you had alot of weight to lose, but seem like too much food to take 10 off a smaller framed person. What has worked for you guys long term?

Hey Button :wel3fc: and the Featherweights....

The reason we're called the Featherweights is because most of us have 10-20 lbs or so to lose, so we're all working on it... We have a weekly challenge set up and also a monthly chat thread so please join us there and anywhere on the site for that matter :D

Come join us in the Whole Foods Lifestyle area. We are dedicated to eating healthy and losing a few pounds (some of us are maintainers). We eat peanut butter, too, but most of us have switched to natural peanut butter--little or no sugar and that cuts down on the calories a bit.

It may seem that the last few pounds are the hardest to lose. Is it because we're so close to goal that we don't try as hard (I think that's my problem). Anyway, welcome! You'll find that there are a lot of good ideas in this forum--it just takes some time to read it all!!!:dizzy:

Here is the thread "intuitive eating"... Personally intuitive eating is what made me overweight in the first place... I "thought" I was always hungry!
