During my first pregnancy 8 years ago, I hit 204. With this pregnancy, I hit 195. My top non-pregnant weight is probably 180, which is what I weighed a week after I had my daughter, 6.5 months ago. My weight prior to pregnancy was 142.
My current weight is 153.
My target weight is 125.


2. How tall are you? 5'6"

3. What's your family situation?
Married with two daughters. One is 8 yrs old from a previous relationship, the other is 6 months old. Husband and I have been together 4 years, married 1.5 years.

Top weight is probably 215lbs. Current is 206.5. Target right now is 180, but I think my ultimate, longterm goal right now is 150.

I'm a student, so I mostly live at school, but I come home during breaks. I'm the middle of 5 kids. There are weight issues on both sides of my family.

A nice bar of chocolate! Cutting down has been easier than I thought. Do still get cravings but I manage to fight or allow myself to eat a bar the odd time.

Crash diets work. You know those diets where you like eat nothing for a couple of days and lose weight. Yeah, it's just going to pile back on when you start eating again.

10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness.
Everything in moderation. My mum told me this one and I believe it's right! Allow yourself to eat everything you like but don't go crazy with it.

Hm. That's also an interesting one. Learning to eat when hungry and not when bored was important. Calories matter, but screwing up isn't the end of the world - you can start again tomorrow. Also, this picture has been a huge source of motivation for me recently. (The caption is 'You don't get what you wish for, you get what you work for'.)

top weight: 150 lbs. i remember stepping on the scale at the dentist and being shocked, since i didn't have a scale at home at the time.
current weight: the scale this morning said 135.
target: 125, at least for now. i don't know if i can maintain under that.
