Aha, I think I've found my place (intro, m)

  • I've been looking around for the right place for about a week. I am Lisa, mom to six and 43. I need to lose 20 more pounds to be where I want to be. I've lost 10 over the past 6 weeks, so slow and steady is my way. I'm just counting calories, since I don't think it's what I'm eating, it's how much!

  • Slow and steady is great Lisa. I'm not sure how much I want to weigh when it's all said and "done" (never really done, lifetime habits have changed forever), but the last time I felt healthy I weighed 158 so I set that as my goal. So I have less than 20 lbs to go - but I'm not watching the scale as much as I'm watching what I eat, what I do, how I take care of myself, and how I SEE myself!
