That's what I say! I am back on the diet and back to exercising every day. The sore muscles from gardening are finally starting to move without creaking.
Good luck!
Just so you know, I am still at 149, but have dropped a few ounces.

Hi, my name is Jen and I'm 41yrs old I'm trying to loose 20lbs that seem to have attached themselves to my belly overnight :-) I've tried pratically everything but from cutting down on cals to exercising, to going on the special K diet and I just can't seem to get rid of them and tone up to where i want to be. I'm going to give it one more try in hopes that I start to eventually see some results before summer kicks in.

Hi tubbaki! Good news!!! Finally back down to 148! Do you go to the gym every day? I used to. These days, I try to get in a couple of miles of walking; but, I find I am needing to get on the stairs. So it is probably back to the gym for me.
I have been seeing your name around in other areas. It always makes me feel good... I have a friend. Saw you on the binge challenge most recently and I am cheering for you! J.

Hi, me too! The battle with the belly rages on and on. I have 4 extra inches That suddenly appeared in that area (in the last year.)

Nothing that I like fits!

Don't even consider giving up. I say we keep at this 'til we win! What is the alternative? To just slip away into eternal chubbiness? I don't think so!
Wishing you wt. loss, J.

YAY!!

after i joined 3fc, i tried get at least half an hour of exercise in everyday... but my horrendous three day binge on the weekend made me gain all that weight back and a little more.
so for the past few days i haven't been going to the gym, sort of demotivated and to top that, i got sick a few days ago. BUT! i just came back from the gym

i've never used the stairmaster, how's that? do you feel it burns more calories than the treadmill/elliptical? i usually just go on the elliptical.

I use the stairmaster and I love it. For me, it is just like climbing stairs that never end. I can really get a lot done in a very short time. I figured out that I can simply walk into the gym in my sweats, go right to the stairmaster, climb up and do 30 min or so. Then I go to the market and I'm all set.

I like the stairmaster for butt improvement. I also do 45 min walking outside in the fresh air, yoga for my back and a series of exercises that supposedly will rid me of the awful extra 4" that crept onto my waist.

Still holding at 148. Sometimes I think we plateau at weights we were at for a long time. I was in the high 140s for years. Would love to get through it faster, but what can you do?

sometimes the number doesn't necessarily matter.
woww! I'd rather fit into my clothes than see the number drop (although that would be nice too!)

keep it up!

Thanks Tubbaki! It is always a pleasure to hear from you.

Yep! I think I better quit weighing for a couple of days (as long as I stay on the diet.) I am definitely getting thinner and should be happy. I just read somewhere: "The scale is a blunt instrument..." Yeah, and I've been hitting myself on the head with it far too long. Thanks again! J.
