  • Hi everyone,
I just joined and am surfing through to see where I fit in. I have about 20 or so pounds I would like to loose and want to eat low carb but not follow atkins. Any low carbers out there?
Looking forward to meeting you all.

ps... where can I get a weight tracker?

  • Hi Ilene,
I guess I'll wait to loose my weight when I get back in town. I'm in Louisiana right now enjoying the local cuisne which makes it's too hard to count carbs.
If I'm lucky, all the walking I'm doing down here will help offset any weight gain.
    Talk to you later!

  • HI everyone... I am so glad I found this site... I am finding the inspiration from lots of people here...I introduced myself to another forum on 3 fat chicks but was sent here...apparently I am a featherweight... This is what they think but that is certainly not how I feel. No one in my family ever considered me a featherweight...that's for sure...mom weighs 100lbs and dad 125lbs!!! I really hope I "really" do fit in this forum!

  • Hi everyone,
I am new here and I want to know where I fit in. I have 35 pounds which I would like to loose.

Can you help me, pls ?
  • I too am new here and was directed to the featherweights group. It definately sounds like the right place for me ... I've got 20-25 pounds to lose and would love to have it gone by my 30th birthday, which is the end of August. So far, everything I've ever tried has had minimal effect so its time to get serious and kick this body of mine into gear.
  • My sister linkied me over here when she sent me to join...I'm fairly certain I fit in this group, based on the the overall response I get any time somebody hears I'm trying to lose weight. At my highest non-pregnant weight ever and wanting to get down to pre-pregnancy weight...but without taking anything away from baby nursling.

  • Hello everyone!

i learned from my welcome post that I fit into this group.

I'm looking to lose about 24 pounds. I'm currently at 124 and I am 4'8'', so this would be perfect for my height, at least that's what I'm told.

My stepmother doesn't want me to lose that much weight; she thinks I'll look sickly, but I don't think I will. My mini goal is to be 115, we'll see how I feel when I'm there.

However, I will say being 124 is a big improvement from where I used to be at 175. I feel a lot better, and I'm glad that I've made the jump to do this for my health.
  • Hi all! I think this is the forum I fit into. I am 22, 5'6, and 155 lbs. I would like to drop 20 lbs in order to hit my goal of 135. I try and exercise and eat healthy but it is HARD, I need help, motivation, a place to turn when the ice cream is calling for me. My highest weight has been 180, but that was 5 years ago. I have been 155-160 for over 2 years now. Looking forward to chatting with others who have similar goals.
  • Hi all. I re-joined yesterday and am trying to find my way around this place. I got serious about my weight loss 14 weeks ago and am down 13 pounds (from 144 to 131) on my way to another 11 (goal is 120). Hoping to get (and give) some support to others in the same situation.
  • Hi everyone! After browsing all the forums, i think this is the one that i fit into most =) I'm currently at my hw of 141 at 5'5 and 18 years old and most of my jeans don't fit anymore. I've decided it's time for a change! I'm going to cut down on the junk food and do turbo jam at least 5 times a week, if not everyday! I want to lose about 20 pounds or so. Good luck everyone with your personal goals
