This should be interesting. I found out I have a medical condition that is making me gain weight..hoping to avoid surgery, which is a hysterectomy (don't want that...ugh!)

Wow - I'm sorry to hear about the medical condition... but glad that you have an explanation for the weight gain!!! Can it be controlled through alternate methods? Here's hoping you can avoid surgery.

Thanks. I actually just drove 1000 miles to see a doctor at Duke. It's wait, get surgery that might fix it, get a hysterectomy that will fix it. The weight gain is hard to deal with. I look pregnant. I'm going to wait for now, but if there are actual symptoms that are beyond weight gain and bloating, I will need to figure this out.
