Weight loss after pregnancy
 

Hi everyone! I’m back after being offline for a while. I was doing great hanging around 125 and loving that weight on me. So I maintained for a while and scratched the original goal to lose a few more pounds. I felt awesome at 125 and looked great too.

Well this spring I got pregnant and I just miscarriaged. I was only pregnant for a couple months but boy did I feel it. Crazy hungry, eating a lot, very exhausted- and here I am today weighing in at 135. My doc tells me a lot of that weight is likely extra water weight but I feel every pound of that 10 pound gain. (Especially because I put it on in basically 2 months or so!) He said give it a couple weeks for my hormones to level out and that I should lose at least the first few pounds effortlessly.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve never been pregnant before so this is new to me. I’m hoping I’ll bounce back to feeling better and losing the weight quickly. Anyway, just looking for some support on this weight loss journey and maybe some insight from anyone who’s been there before.
