The kids at school are bringing me cookies and chocolate for Christmas. I ate an entire box. I can't imagine what this did....well, tomorrow is another day.

It's stress. I have never been able to lose weight this rapidly. Getting out of the 130's was very hard for me.

Don't know how this is possible, but I had more chocolate, cookies, and even got ice cream at McDonald's and somehow woke up 122 this morning. I'll take it. Didn't exercise either. Weird.

The kids are great. They brought in so much stuff. I'm going to give most of it away.

It took me almost twenty years to get under 130. I was 130 from 17 until 35, I'm 36 now and am finally getting near 120. I changed my diet. Instead of low fat, I cut carbs, eat about 100 g protein, 150 g carbs, and 40 g fat. The carbs are from fruits and vegetables, no bread etc. Unless it's Christmas, then bring on the cookies! Having muscle also helps. My body fat is 20% and muscle burns calories. Also, 1319 calories per day and maybe burn 200 calories per day.

How are you doing it?

Jen - I have been doing 'strict' calorie counting starting on Dec 1, since I didn't really lose any weight during the whole month of November. It took me 5 yrs to get out of the 130's :/ You are a little taller than me, so I'm sure getting out of the 130's was even more challenging!
With the advice of someone here on 3FC, I have limited my meal plans.
I have been doing 1200 cals/day. The stress this month has caused me to drop to 1050 cal 2 times and sometimes 3 times in the week. But I also have 'cheated' a couple of days, so it has balanced out. I have been also doing Fitness Blender workouts at home 3 times a week and going to the gym for treadmill/elliptical combo 30mins and Pilates later that day on Fridays.
My meals are:
Breakfast - A scrambled egg/parmesan/veggies, or Oatmeal, or Cereal
Lunch - Any meal within 270-320 cals (Frozen, Home-cooked, or restaurant)
Dinner - Same as lunch
Snacks - 1 of these: Cashews, cottage cheese, Cookie, Chocolate mint or Dove Dark Choc Square, string cheese, 1/2 bottle starbucks Mocha coffee drink (50cals).

I try to throw in extra veggies and fruit with the meals/snacks.
I drink 48oz water/day (I have a hard time drinking more than this).

I have tried many things, and this works for me currently, so I'm sticking to it! It's so discouraging when the loss doesn't happen. I have tried many ways, and they work for me, but I'm not able stay with it. Calorie counting works for me. Glad you were able to find what works for you! You did/are doing fantastic!
