good job on having half a portion. I don't think i could at a mexican place based upon previous experience lol. Salt water retention isn't really weight gain though, so you should lose it quickly enough.

I maintained at 129.4 today

Good job with the holidays, ladies :) I have a NYE party to attend tonight, but I weighed in this morning at 126.2. Funny how I was supposed to be maintaining at 130... but I guess there's plenty of time for maintenance later. I've been having fun celebrating with friends and family.

I'm afraid of the scale after today. I binged big time. I will not be weighing and will be fasting tomorrow and the next 3 days. I don't know if I'll do a liquid fast or just a 500 cal fast

Ugh! I tried a fast yesterday and did good until 6pm....then ate everything in sight. Back to 1050-1200 :)

I do 500 calories. I either eat small amounts all day or try to eat from say 2 on but I don't have a set eating window. I am going to try a liquid f(e)ast for a longer period. I anticipate I will be putting more calories in my body but the lack of food is supposed to be easier on digestion.

I thought today was a fast day but then I looked at all the things I absentmindedly nibbled on. At least it was healthy. I have 4 lbs to lose again. Some of it is probably bloat as that is a lot to gain in a week, even with the bingeing I did, and I found out I was eating something with barley malt in it (so not gluten free). That might take up to a week to get out of my system so let's hope next week I weigh in at the 120s again.

Argh. I've gained nearly three pounds this month.
Started at 127.2 and today 129.8.

The weather has kept me indoors, snacking.
And I think cooking/keeping foods around for my bf has been a big factor.

Planning for a great day today and a better number for next weigh in.

Happy - I know what you mean. It's so discouraging sometimes. I have been really struggling this month. I keep eating above my daily calories, and mostly sweets. I went up for the first whole week, and finally the scale is starting to drop. Hang in there!

Skittles - Yeah!!!!

126.5 again. Feeling thankful b/c I ate a ton of chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, and a slice of pumpkin roll yesterday :/

Soooooo...it's been about 3 months since I last checked in. Got stuck in some bad habits for a couple months around the holidays and decided that I wasn't going to stress about it. Too much eating out, for the most part.

January 2nd, something in my head went ping! and enough was enough, time to return to healthier choices. I gained back a few pounds and some pants are too tight again. Oh well! I'm saner about my weight now and fully understand that whatever weight I put on can come off again if I stick to good habits.

No stress, no shame. Missed this place though! :hug: Hope everyone is well.

126 New Low!

Going to start P90x Lean for the first time today. Nervous and excited. If it stalls my weight loss, I think I will revert back to diet and Fitness Blender since that was working for me. I just have this horrible belly (pg related...and it may be permanent :/) I'm trying to flatten, so I thought I would go a little more extreme :) I will up my calories 200 max and try that with the new program.

Skittles - It will come down! Whatever you do, don't get discouraged and then eat a little more (haha...that's what I do!). You are doing great!

I had grilled chicken and 2 sloces of pepperoni pizza yesterday so I'm kinda mad at the bloat.today has been chocolate chip pancakes and a bunch of little tastings of venison and 2 venison epinadas. I'm hoping if I have a lite dinner j won't bloat to bad.i need to lose 2 lbs every week now to make my goal of 120 for the day we get to Disney in March.

Ooh, Skittles, 133 is looking like a very slim number! Something about it :) Congrats getting through!

I exercised extreme yesterday and the typical thing happened when I exercise:
1) I get ravenous and COMPLETELY overeat afterwards and all day long
2) I puff up like a Ball Park Frank

So I'm up a pound this morning :( I'm going to give it 3-5 days, but like I said, if my weight starts going up or I don't lose, I'm going to cut out the major exercise, until I lose the fat, then tone up afterward. Not ideal, but my reality.

I'm baking egg cups for tomorrow I hope it goes well.i kinda hope the weight keeps dropping off I would love to have a cushion so I don't stress every week about the 2lbs.im going to the back doctor Tuesday and see what she's says.im hoping to start physical therapy or something and I wont leave until she lets me do some kind of exercise. 2lbs until I can take photos.i started at 150 and I'm trying to do it every 10lbs

Yes, I also started taking photos and measurements for the first time. It is amazing seeing the progress and also what places my body is losing it.

I'm up another pound from the exercise and resulting increased appetite the past couple of days. Maybe I should exercise right before bedtime, so I don't get that insatiable appetite! Anyway, I'm going to fight hard to keep calories down low today in order to make up for the past 2 days.

Thanks kifli, stuck around 133, ugh. I don't know what p90x lean is but I have p90x. It's pretty cool. I can never stick with anything for very long though because I have a friend that I weight lift with and zumba and bootcamp classes that I like to go to, so I have never done a full program. A bit of p90x, piyo, combat (and I still have more to try actually).

Yeah....126.5 this morning. Finally getting close to where I started, before the exercise with resulting binge happened. Plan on cutting calories today (fingers crossed) and getting this back in the bag.

Skittles - Glad to see your numbers going back down. Hope you were able to see your doc.

Amethyst - P90X lean, is P90X, but just a different sequence geared supposedly for weight loss. That's probably true for most people, but for me it caused that hunger hormone to kick in and I gained! :) I LOVE Zumba and weight lifting. I was doing that before and then started up home videos. After I lose the fat, I'm going to return to doing those at my local gym. Sounds like you get a nice mix of things :) I know it sucks to get stuck at a number. I got to a point where I could not get below 133 and toggled b/w 133 and 137. Just hang in there, it will come eventually. Diet alone is what finally got me down. I just had to cut calories for a while. Anyway, it's admirable you are even attempting it while being in school. I remember just giving up in grad school b/c I was so busy I didn't have time to care, lol. It's just temporary :)

Skittles, I lose MORE weight when I don't exercise. Not condoning that or anything :) But you are doing great even without the exercise! 132...yay! Healthy BMI...yay!

I cut calories yesterday by 200, but still 126.5 today. Going to cut again today.

Haha Skittles, I'm ALL about cheat days! The problem is I have too many 'unplanned' cheat days, so I have to eliminate the planned one. I just got done with a late night chocolate attack. I was supposed to do 1050 cals today, but ended up with 1635. Now we are going on a 4 day ski vacation tomorrow, so no weigh ins and home-cooked meals. I'm going to do my best to hang on to my 126.5. I do great when I stay on plan, but I just go through periods where my will is weak. I was following a self-written menu plan last month. Maybe I will revert to that when I get back next Tuesday and schedule in a 'real' cheat day :)

I hear you about toning up...it's feels so good to do exercise and see the results!

Have fun on your vacation.i hear skiing burns tons of calories. I'm 131 today.that means im down 40lbs yay me.tomorrow I'll take progress photos and measurements .i just wish I had started earlier I only have 2 other photos to compare to.
