Joss, I say keep weighing. I've been disappointed by the scale many times, but I also know when I don't weigh, I get into big trouble. How about a compromise? Maybe weigh every three days? Good luck--you are an inspiration, regardless.

Joss - It's a catch-22. I feel the same way - it can be so very discouraging, but then it keeps me plugging away to try & not down those numbers. It's just a matter of how well you handle it mentally. If it's going to make you go grab a cheeseburger & fries, then back off & go every other or something. If it motivates you, keep doing it. Sorry, friend. The scale can be a real bi tch sometimes.

Alex - hang in there lady... its water weight!
Turbo - I think you're right... I just have to stick with it. I'm not committing to something hard like running a marathon every day or anything, it's just stepping on a scale. Not weighing over the holiday trip to see my husband is what did me in. (Hmm, should I pack it and take it with me this weekend? )
Maddie - No, you're right. It puts me in a crap mood but it won't make me run for the cheeseburgers. It makes me beat myself up, but I stick to my program. It's just such a jerk!
Bubbly - I hope the tea helps to soothe your throat!
TheBunneh - It didn't jump back all that much though, so that's good!
LRH - I agree, and thank you for the advice. I think I'll continue to do it daily, save for the days I am out of town. A little disappointment at some water weight and fluctuations is a lot better than not weighing and getting a real shock like I've seen a few times recently!
Lovedancelive - I need to take a page out of your book... refreshing smiley face and here I am practically crying! haha

I haven't a CLUE how it happened- usually it's a week before I am anywhere near "normal" again!

Ha, at least it was .6 of a pound less than last Monday. I'm sort of surprised it jumped up this high. I expected it to be up, but not THAT up. I do expect a water weight whoosh tomorrow. I've been peeing ALL DAY LONG.
