Blah, had THE LAZIEST day ever! Literally like zero physical activity except walking from the car into church and moving around the house and such. Confession: I actually kinda feel weird eating on these kind of days.. I know just being alive burns calories, but it sure doesn't feel like it! Did my best though.

Chickie, that party sounds awesome!! You put so much care and work into it obviously. That's really cool. (:

Bayzee 11-12-2012 09:03 AM

Monday mornings are tough aren't they? I'm pretty much still a disaster today.

I was OP yesterday. Went to bed very hungry...lost about one lb yesterday...119.4 this morning. Pretty much the same place I was last Monday :(

My goal is to see 117 by Friday and NOT miss any workouts...ambitious but I have to start seeing the scale drop or I'll lose it! I don't care if it's 117.9..that's only 2 lbs..right??? LOL!

And I'm going to say it outloud...I AM NOT DRINKING ALCOHOL on FRIDAY. I say this every week to myself, and it never happens! We are hosting UFC Saturday and I am limiting myself to 2 drinks ONLY and NO snacking during the UFC. The 2 glasses of wine will be my "treat" for the week.

Goals for the week:
1. Stay OP
2. Don't miss any workouts
3. No alcohol on Friday
4. 2 glasses of wine on Saturday and no "treat"

LeilaJey 11-12-2012 04:29 PM

Hey everyone! I had an amazing weekend, but I ate like a crazy person. I'm not going to waste time regretting it right now, I'd say it was so worth it (even though I haven't checked the scale yet..) Lots of drinking too, I can really feel it now.. I must be getting old ;)

TurboMammoth 11-12-2012 04:55 PM

Chickie : OMG, ever thought of becoming a party planner or something? ;) It looks like all those kids had a BLAST! Glad for you that this crazy week/weekend is over :)

Mottaini : Sometimes a lazy day is more of a rest day, which can be super good to your body... That's the way I prefer to see it so I don't feel guilty for not working out from times to times ;)

Bayzee : I think a 2 lbs goal can be acheive.. but for me, I always need to be soooo good to see a 2 lbs drop OR to work out like crazy.. Hope you can acheive what you hope for :)

LeilaJey : As you said, you had a good weekend... Even if your scale might make you doubt about that, you gotta focus on that! Aww, why can't we have TONS of fun and skip all the calories!? ;)

***

Aww, this weekend of fiesta is over, thanx god. I had a tons of fun but feeling the most bloated in the world for 48 hours was not feeling GOOD. Lesson learned.

137.2 this morning, which make sense with all I ate and drank and not pooped.

I planned all our meals until thursday night and they are all fairly healthy. Back on TRACK, Christmas and family reunions are so close, time to get back in shape ;)

Went for a run this morning, the hip started to let me know she was there and weird after 4km. I streched after and it is now feeling better, last week it was hurting until the next day... At least there is a slight improvment!

mottainai 11-12-2012 05:05 PM

Happy Monday, Feathers!
Just wanted to quick share my progress picture report for the week.
Those little jeans are now officially going all the way up my legs so that the crotch hits correctly, haha, and also getting closer to being fasten-able.
You can see here: http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/...07/newcomp.jpg

That is all, hope everyone's week is off to a great start!! (:

LockItUp 11-12-2012 05:17 PM

Hoping to catch up on personals tomorrow at work! Congrats, Mottainai on your jeans progress. And congrats to Chickie on the party!

<------- I got a new haircut! I love it. Although I never realized how big my forehead is LOL! It's like everything else has gotten smaller and now my head is huge! HA!

Fighting the urge to celebrate my 90 pound weight loss milestone with food. That's so f'ed up though right!? Why is my celebration default still FOOD!? Will it ever go away!

krampus 11-13-2012 10:00 AM

Haaaaaay Feathers, back at work today.

London was fabulous, I spent too much money and did everything to excess - eating, drinking, shopping, "other," you name it. I'll post pictures soon! I didn't buy as much as I thought I would, but I did get an outfit that I wore to the "White Jail" warehouse/basement club night Friday - dark green opaque leggings and a swishy black tank top. I was seriously the fattest and shortest person in the room there, but everyone else was 5 girls per bathroom stall blowing coke O___o;;;; I also got Doc Martens patent leather boots (I've wanted these for like 10 years) and a cool leather jacket that I haggled down from £160 to £60.

I didn't gain any weight on my vacation!!!!!!!!!!!! That never happens, but then again I did kind of stick to an IF routine and I guess my awesome weightlifting metabolism was kind to me. I miss vegetables and protein dearly. Back to the gym tonight - I can't wait!

LockItUp You've lost like 10 lbs since I last posted here and your haircut is fabulous!!! I think it's OK to celebrate things with food - maybe not specifically weight loss but you shouldn't feel like you can't ever celebrate with food again. 90 pounds is incredible.

mottainai You are so tiny at 115 - really inspiring to see those pants fitting so much better!

TurboMammoth Oh no, is hip pain new? I knew you had a problem with your foot. Glad you are not pushing 140 with bloat again. Your birthday celebration sounded like a wonderful time! Happy belated!

LeilaJey What did you do over the weekend? Maybe you didn't gain any weight.

Bayzee Good luck this week! I had literally 8 or 9 drinks on Saturday night and just thought "shiiiiiiit."

ChickieChicks WELL DONE on the successful party, your kids are beyond lucky to have you as their mom. Seriously if more parents put that much energy and love into party planning there would be fewer f-ups in the world!

JossFit Drinking all day and hitting up Mexican sounds pretty great to me. How are you finding your time with him? I hope everything is going great for you.

kakers That competition sounds really fun. I'm glad you are so passionate about and dedicated to it!

novangel You are SO close to goal!

AlisaPearl Welcome!!!!!

kakers 11-13-2012 11:39 AM

krampus- great job maintaining on vacation!!

LockItUp- LOVE the hair! And I think that food is still the go-to for celebration because, well, good food is just so good! Plus it is something you have been relatively deprived of, so it feels even more like a special treat now than it did before.

Mottainai- wow that's a lot of progress in under a month! Good job!

TurboMammoth- I'm glad your hip is feeling better faster now!

Leila- I have found it so much easier to get back on track when I don't let myself regret a weekend that went a little overboard. The guilt just makes me want to eat more, horrible cycle, and any damage done can always be undone.

Bayzee- no alcohol Friday sounds like a great plan!

________________________________________

So, the weekend was a BLAST. I didn't make finals but hey, that meant I got to drive home during the daylight :) I was on the road by noon Sunday and finals were at 2. I didn't do as well as I hoped as far as eating only a little, I stopped and got enough McDonalds to last a weekend on my way up. It sounds crazy but I NEED animal fat/ animal protein to avoid or undo a hangover. And I'll eat room temp McNuggets for a couple days LOL. Also my friend and I went out for dinner on Saturday. Ultimately, though, I don't think I over did it too much. With the exception of dinner Saturday I stuck with diet sodas (ok, mostly with alcohol LOL) and I can't say I over ate, I picked at food, it just happened to be McDonalds. Actually looking at it, that was just over 2000 calories worth of McDonalds and 800 of it was Friday's dinner. And eating out wasn't horrible except for the small pitcher the soda was served in (seriously LOL) I think the jello was probably the worst thing all weekend.

Either way I ate more than I had planned, but still, I WAS dancing for hours, so that's ok.

Yesterday I was planning to stay around 1200 calories (300 less than usual) to make up for the jello LOL but since we weren't together for Veterans day (and he worked) we decided to go out and take advantage of one of the few places with free meals for veterans last night, Cheeseburger in Paradise. OMG. Just OMG. If you have never eaten there before, don't start now. You will never stop. Their fries were amazing, the burger was awesome, the cheese sticks were delicious, and worst of all the pina colada was one of the best things I have ever ingested in my entire life. The meal actually made me think "man if I could afford to eat this food every day I don't think I would mind that I would get really fat." Most times I go out to eat I will eat like, 3 cheese sticks, 1 or 2 chicken tenders, and a ton of fries. Last night, oh boy did I eat more than than. I came home with 3 cheese sticks for left overs.... instead of a whole extra meals worth of food.

So if you think about going there, don't do it. LOL

But I woke up today at 152 so as long as I am smart the next few days and aim a little low I think I will be good! :)

Terrible or Terrific Tuesday?

Just doing a quick drive-by on my lunch break.

I'm pretty annoyed with work lately...not sure if that is impacting my progress or energy level, but I feel very tired all of the time lately...more like drained!

I went to my workout last night (and wanted to go) which was great and I'm staying VERY OP so far this week. The scale was 117.8 this morning but jumped to 118.6 at the last minute...I hate when that happens! But 5 more checks and it was still 118.6!

I need a favour...I'm looking for a good Youtube Kettlebell workout. Just picked some up for home, and I'd like a 20-30 min effective workout to do in the mornings. Please let me know if you know of any! I know there are tons, but not sure which ones are actually good! Thanks!

Will check in later tonight for personals!

TurboMammoth 11-13-2012 12:01 PM

krampus : Can't wait to see those pictures! Especially of de Doc and the leather jackets! ANd may I say it is AWESOME that you did not gain during your holidays!? That rocks!

And yeah, the hip problem is new... It started after my last race at the end of October. I think it is a Hip Flexor thing so I'm trying not to push it too much but it still sucks!

mottaini : They fits! Awesome! Best way to see that there IS improvement even is our choices in food and binge may lead us to thing something else :)

Lockitup : I love the new haircut! :) Pretty pretty!

Joss : where are you girl? Hope you,re doing ok :)

kakers : aaah, we poster at the same time. I'm totally like you, I ate fat stuff to recover from hungover ahah!

bayzee : I hate when scaleeee does that. Can't help you with the youtube workout, but I hope you will find what you are looking for!

Hi feathers!

Up to 138.8 this morning... there was no toilet meet up yesterday though, I'm drinking up tons of coffee right now.. let's hope it works :D I know I had a good day yesterday (a bit too much dessert, but now an over the world excess). I was freacking out at first because I made risotto (for the first time. and it rocked. i feel such like an accomplished housewive right now. (...)). but after dinner I counted all the calories and it really wasn't not that! Half of the recipe was about 500-600 calories, and I ate less of that, about 400-500 cal I think. It was so tasteful, I'm defenitely going to make that again in the future.

I have a couple pictures of my birthday weekend. Here's a few :)

My real birthday date was friday, that I was spending most of it alone, my boyfriend being at a conference all day. So, I decided that it was MY day and that I was doing stuff that I love. So here's a picture of my lunch, that I ate after a nice 6k run and I ate a lentils salad with sliced turkey and crackers while uploaded my Garmin watch stat. It was some great ''me'' time, even if my boyfriend was ''okay, you really picked a lentils salad for your lunch on your bd?!'' (you can also see my cat celebrating my birthday in the top right corner of the picture... in its own way..!?)

The boyfriend and me at the mexican restaurant on saturday night. I just received this wonderful birthday card from some friends with the boys from twilight on it. The card is so aweful, it is now on my fridge, to my boyfriend disgust.

TurboMammoth – Thank you! And I’m glad you had a nice birthday!!!

Bayzee – I’m going to ask my DH about the youtube kettle bell workouts, he’s really into kettle bells and I know he is on youtube all the time looking at that stuff. Your plan post from yesterday looks great!

Kakers – Thank you! MAN that food sounds delicious, I will steer clear for sure!!!

Krampus – If YOU were the “fattest shortest person” I do NOT ever want to go there!!! And super congratulations on no gain on vacation! That’s simply amazing. And thank you!!!!

Mottainai – Super great progress on the jeans!

LeilaJey – Sounds like you had a fun weekend!

ChickieChicks – That party sounds simply amazing! So much more detail to it than I would ever be able to come up with. I think you have a gift for that!

Novangel – How are things with you??

AilsaPearl – Welcome to feather weights! You are indeed a feather!

JossFit – Hope your traveling was smooth!

*************

Ordered Chinese food last night. I definitely didn't eat as much as I "normally" would, but that stuff is so calorie dense I can't even imagine (don't wanna know) how many calories it was. I was up a pound this morning (expected), but sh!t my pants are tight today, holy crap! Instead of feeling like a rockstar in my new size 6 pants today, I feel like a fat slob with a muffin top. JEEZE! Horrible! Regretting taking back all of my bigger pants because now these are the only ones I have besides pants that are just comically big. I'm sure if I keep it clean today the bloat will subside and they will probably fit better tomorrow. But, YUCK! I suppose that is one really good reason to get rid of your bigger clothes as you get smaller, nothing to fall back on so you are forced to not let bad meals/days roll into a 10 pound gain.

LeilaJey 11-13-2012 05:21 PM

LockItUp Wow, you are losing weight like crazy! I was only gone for a few days. Congratulations lady!

Turbo Aww that's a really pretty picture except for the Twilight guys haha, I love that it's on your fridge though. Maybe it'll put you off over eating? ;) Happy Birthday again, glad you had a nice time!

Bayzee Agh I hate it when my scale does that! Also I followed one of the fitness blender kettlebell workouts. I usually put some music over it.

kakers It's true! It's so easy to get into the 'well I already ruined it' mindset and keep eating. I'm dealing with some serious cravings right now though.

lol, all that food you described has me drooling over here.. :D

krampus Hey welcome back! That's some serious haggling there, and to think that some people pay the full price. Yikes! I was just given a pair of red patent leather Doc Martens this weekend, so there must be something in the air ha

Well done not gaining weight on your holiday, that's awesome.. I'm up 5lbs after a weekend :D

mottainai You're doing really great! And back to a few pages ago - glad I could be of some help :)

Chickie That all sounds amazing, your kids are really lucky to have you as a mom!

Joss I also had Mexican and lots of booze.. hmm. Hope you're doing ok over there!

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Really sorry if I missed anyone, I have a really bad headache but I just wanted to catch up a bit quick.

140 this morning but I'm sure some of it is TOM bloat, I'm really holding a lot of water right now. I ate pretty well today so I'd like to see the 130s again tomorrow! I ate a loooot of bread this weekend but it was so damn good. I'm trying to remember everything I ate and in my head I'm like 'it wasn't that bad..' but it was probably way more than I remember. Well I had a great weekend of eating and partying so meh, whatever.

JossFit 11-13-2012 07:46 PM

Hey Feathers! Back from Colorado and trying to get ready to go back to work tomorrow... blech.

I'll be back to catch up on personals tomorrow!

kakers 11-13-2012 08:40 PM

So, not sure if any of you eat Kraft Mac and Cheese but I just want to say, I went and figured out what the calories would be with using butter and skim milk with the "classic" prep instead of margarine and 2% milk. Guess what, same calories. My calorie counting app, though, only has the light prep calories in it, which was annoying. But it's OK I found something similar with the same number of calories and just counted that instead.

SO GOOD by the way. A bit more in calories than the pizza I was thinking of having for dinner but that's OK. I'm over the 1200 I wanted to stick with today buuutttt I'm still under 1300 so it's ok :)

AAAAAAAAAAH. I haven't eaten Kraf Mac and Cheese in foreveeeer.

I always had a box of that in my closet in college to survive hangovers. It always solved everything :D (ESPECIALLY if you put chopped hot dog sausages in it)
