I've lost about 34 pounds, and have gone from a 10 to between an 8 and a 6. I can still fit nicely into a stretchy 10, though, during and after an up day! ;)

As you get smaller and smaller, it takes less pounds to drop a size.
20-25lbs to see a difference at first. Like XL to L, then 10-15lbs for L to M, then 5-10lbs for M to S When I got to the end, it only takes about 2-3lbs to lose a full inch around my middle. But it gets harder and harder to lose more weight the lighter you become, which is really frustrating. The Paper Towel Analogy of weight loss describes this phenomena perfectly. --> http://www.leanbodiesconsulting.com/...towel-analogy/ |

It's been my experience that 10lbs equal a dress size. How the new dress size fits I would think leans more toward inch loss and where that has occurred.
