Question Girl Scout Cookies

I keep seeing/hearing people talk about these. Are they really that good? In your opinion, are they better than any of the grocery store brands, bakery products, or homemade?

i like them very much. however, since i am the only one in my household who eats them and i only allow myself one a day, it takes me forever to finish a box. however, they freeze very well.

They're ok... I think we all like to eat them because every year at this time, we got a few boxes, so it's kinda a comfort food of sorts. I mean, don't get me wrong, they are good, but nothing like a fresh cookie out of the oven full of chocolate chips and macadamia nuts!!!

It's not that they are better. It's that they are a special taste we can only buy once a year. Different people prefer different ones and some are more popular than others.

I haven't had a girl scout cookie in years. Last I remember the Tagalongs and Samoas were really freaking good.

I think I must be the only person around who doesn't think they're that good! It's been years since I've had one so maybe they are much better now, but I never really understood the appeal.

LOVE THEM!! I can put away a few 100 calories in no time when they are in my house. I think the biggest appeal is that you can only buy them once a year. I am trying not to go overboard this year. I can not wait until they are unavailable again!!

I used to eat Thin Mint ice cream (YESS it comes in ice cream form). It was AMAZING but for some reason mint isn't my idea of an indulgence, plain ol fudge on vanilla is, yet I love thin mints.

I ADORE samoas. They are the best cookie ever, IMO. Love the coconut.

That's why I never buy 'em...I end up eating the whole box.

I can definitely eat a whole box of samoa's, also why I dont buy them. Keebler now makes a pretty close clone to the Samoa and you can buy it all year round! My husband and I both love sweets but since he's a diabetic and I'm OP, we help each other resist. If I'm that tempted for a sweet, I have an IP chocolate pudding, even if it means a 4th packet that day, better than cheating!

They still are to me!

I love GS cookies - I get one box of Tagalongs and one box of Samoas each year and manage to finish the entire thing. I have no guilt in doing it because I know I'll only be able to have them once a year. In fact my greatest wish would be that you could buy them in bigger boxes!
