Trying to climb back on the bandwagon

  • Hi!

Just writing to say that I'm trying to get back on track. My life became _way_ too stressful for me to handle and I fell off the bandwagon. I didn't weight myself for a couple of months or so, I got hooked on sugar again, binging, and so on. A couple of weeks ago I bit the bullet and weighed myself - had gained a good 6 pounds, weighing 133.4! That made me cringe ok!

Since then I have weaned myself off added sugar again (seriously that wasn't easy at first!) and have picked up the habit for regular exercise again. I'm pole-walking and there's a sort of an outdoor exercise park nearby, so I go on a walk and stop to exercise my arms and tummy etc in the park, and I'm already getting stronger, I can literally feel it in my everyday life

I won't punish or put myself down for this. Even if I slipped, I've regained control again. I'll try to get back safely under 130 first and then work hard to lose those last 15 pounds - I still really want to lose them!

Cheers to all old and new friends
  • Hi Pigeon
Welcome back! I remember you. I fell off the bandwagon as well and starting over - again
    Let's do this!!
  • Welcome back pigeon! I think being up only 6 pounds is actually great and I'm sure you can lose them and get down to your ultimate goal weight. Staying away from sugar and exercising more is awesome! Come join me in the getting out of the 130s thread if you like
  • You only gained 6 lbs in a couple of months off?! You are lucky! I can gain 6lbs a WEEK on a binge Jump back on, you will be back where you started in no time.
