A note to my Feathers friends
 

Dear Feathers,

It's with a heavy heart that I write this note to you ladies. I've been holding pretty steady with my weight the last two months and I think it's safe to say that I'm in maintenance mode! :cheer: I did it!!

I'm going to start my fifth (eeks!) decade in better shape than I ever was. I have a couple of regrets though. I wish I had found this site four years ago, I could've used the support sooner. And I deeply regret that my mom isn't here to share in my good news. It's really because of her untimely death that I woke up and took my health seriously. But I gotta believe that wherever she is, that she's immensely proud of 'her girl'. :)

So, that being said, I will be spending a lot of my time on the Exercise, IF Support Group and Maintenance threads from now on. I'll be popping in from time to time to say hi but my work here is done as a Featherweight. Yet I would expect to see some of you very soon as I know several of you ladies are close to goal. I'll save you a seat in the Maintenance thread. :lol:

I would list all of you but I don't want to forget anyone (yeah, I'm old) but know this: I'm behind each one of you 100%. You've welcomed me with open arms and I consider each of you a friend. :hug:

And remember, I'm older than many of you so if I can do it at the age of 39 then SO CAN YOU!!! :love:

Hey, Fitmom, I am in maintenace, too. There is no need to leave Featherweights as you go into maintenance, you can post anywhere you feel comfortable. I post in several and occasionally lurk in some others.

Fitmom! Congrats :D Great to hear you reached your goal! I've been reading your posts, and you have been such an inspiration on the excersise department. I wish you the best of luck in maintaining, though I am sure you will do fine!

And I'm sure we'll see eachother here or any other place on the boards!

fitmom You are too sweet. But I agree you dont have to go! You basically keep this thread alive with your insightful threads and consistent comments. It wont be the same without your energy and motivation. Congratulations on your success you have truly been an inspiration :hug:

Aww, congrats fitmom! I will miss seeing you around here, but see you in maintenance soon I hope! :hug: You introduced me to HIIT, and we are brain twins when it comes food, so you're a very special part of my weight loss. :love:
