Not sure if I fit in this group...
I am 5'4 and I weigh 144 pounds, so I am looking to lose about 25 pounds. I can finally fit into a size six, but I still have a belly. The pants look ok on me, they aren't tight. I don't have red marks left on my waist like I used to when I tried to put on a pair of size six pants. I think I fit better in the size 6/7 category. 8 is too big for me, they are too baggy. They fit perfectly, but I have a stomach that doesn't want to go away. I am hoping once I get into the 120's my stomach will flatten though. I am told that I am overweight at 5'4 and 144 with my bmi but I do look slim and I am very muscular. I have muscular arms, and legs. I think from all the crunches and sit ups I do I have muscle hidden under my stomach fat, so I am doing a lot of cardio to burn that off. The one picture of me actually made me look pregnant. I have a slim waist but a belly sticking out. I didn't realize I looked pregnant, this was something a person on a forum said to me when I put my picture up. I was standing with my side to the camera, and my stomach stuck out. I wasn't sure how I was supposed to take a comment like that, lol.
Anyway, wondering if there are people like me with similar goals. Anyone else with a slim waist, but a belly? |
I am 4'11 and 145 lbs and I am still in my size 12's from 14 lbs ago. Granted they are loose but I would be ecstatic to be in a size 6 :) I am hoping the same thing. I have lost all my weigh in my chest and upper body. I really hope the lower body catches up soon lol or I will begin to look weird!
I think with the right diet and exercise you can achieve that flat belly bc I want one too so I hope when I get down to 120 or so I see a major difference which I think a 25 lbs loss will definitely show. |
