Wildflower, I actually went to interviews in a BCBG suit, and you're right, the skirt was wayyy too short (a full 3 inches above the knee when I sat down, though luckily there was always that table between us). I hadn't seen corporette before but I've just spent twenty minutes reading through old posts -- I love it, thank you! This is going to be a lifesaver.

My future employer has sent me a pretty decent "relocation" bonus, and I joke that it will actually be a wardrobe slush fund. I only need to ship a few boxes and buy a bus ticket to get myself there, but stocking the closet? That's going to be a hefty startup cost. :)

Well, I am waaaaaaaay older than older by the definition in the top post lol and am a jeans and T-shirt person, lately have been enjoying a personal revival of little capri pants that seem in fashion here, if capris is not a dating-myself kind of word. It is hot here most of the time (not today) and I work outdoors a lot so in all honesty I don't know what you mean by dressing my age. Most people here in my area of all ages dress rather alike, T-shirts, jeans and varieties of short slacks, occasionally women wear dresses or suits and things like that depending. Jeans are the most uniform wear for all ages and both genders.

Maybe in other parts of the country people don't dress like that, don't know.

Age is irrelevant as to how people around me dress.

Good question.

Yikes, the skirt does seem a bit short. I know they tend to go for more of a sexy/trendy look. That's awesome you are getting a relocation bonus you don't really need to relocate. :) And what a great time to build a new wardrobe towards the end of your weight loss journey.

Glad you liked Corporette, it's a good one!!!:D
