Countdown to bathing suit.... ugh!
I didn't know where to post this. I have to wear a bathing suit in 10 days. These are the times that I regret going off plan. All of my swimsuits are too tight. Sigh. My goal for the next week and a half is to eat clean, 1200 calories and exercise at least every other day. If any of you have time, could you please yell at me to GET A SPINE and JUST DO IT!!! :p

Start journaling and eating clean NOW! It will make a huge difference. I have to wear a bathing suit the first and second week of February so I understand! |
Thank you! I tried on every bathing suit I have last night and it was a great motivator to keep me on track. Day 1 done, 9 to go....
|
:coach: YOU CAN DO THIS!!
|
Make like Nike and JUST DO IT :)
PS. If it's a special occasion, try cutting down on sodium a day or two before you have to wear it to shed some water weight. |
You can do this! Move, Move, Move!
On another note, where do you get to go? Sounds like an exciting vacation! |
Good thinking on the sodium! Damn it's hard to avoid! Even fat free cheese has a ton.
I'm going to Jamaica! My first grown-up vacation at an all-inclusive resort. |
You Can Do It!!!! Keep Going!!!!! Keep Your Eyes On The Goal!!!!!!
|
oooh Jamaica! I've never been, but heard it's fabulous. Have a GREAT time!
|
Oh my god, Jamaica? So lucky. You're going to have a ridiculous time.
P.S. Start slathering yourself with body lotion twice a day as well. By the time your vacay comes around, you'll be in love with your soft skin and that's enough to make anyone feel amazing. |
This may sound silly, but get a spray tan before you go or use some of Jergens lotion with a hint of color. Tanned skin looks better in a bathing suit!!
Have fun! |
I'm already on it - Nivea sun-kissed tinting moisturizer! I'm hoping if I massage it onto my skin really hard it will reduce the appearance of my cellulite. Thanks everyone!

I'm going to the Caribbean whiter than anyone I know. LOL! I'm cool with it. I've been pale my whole life. The last time I cruised, strangers came up to me the whole trip, handing me their sunscreen and telling me I was going to burn if I didn't put it on.
I hate the sunless tanners. I tried Nivea's once, but it came off so easily once I was out in the heat. I ended up blotchy, especially on top of my feet. I'm not one to risk the sun or tanning beds, so.... I stay white and remind myself that I have no wrinkles because of it. I'll take the trade-off. Congrats on Jamaica. I love it there. Have fun in your swimsuit. You can do it! |
Jamaica Jamaica!!! Guess what....I am Jamaican! You are going to love it! Which hotel are you staying at?
|
Secrets in Montego Bay. Do you know it? I hope it's nice....
I will beware of the tinted moisturizer. Blotchy would at least counteract my naturally occurring "texture".... Lol! |
Hi Flippychick, I am right with ya on the swimsuit countdown. I am going to Hawaii for my honeymoon and I REFUSE to spend any time on that trip worrying about how I look. I on on day 2 of clean eating, and I am already noticing some things. I think cutting salt has made the most difference. I weight two lbs. less this morning than I have in months. This was AFTER going out to dinner last night and eating a chicken burger with cheese. I am feeling pretty good about things right now. I can't wait to step on teh ol' scale tomorrow.

kwinkle - How many days until you leave? Have a great time! I've heard Hawaii is spectacular!
|
I have two months before the honeymoon. I have been eating pretty well--beans and rice for lunch at work and very little salt and sugar. The salt makes a huge difference. If I eat a salty meal, I'll weigh 32 or 3 lbs more the next day. Weird. I am learning some things about my system!
|
T-20 days for me until bikini. Argh! I'm still petrified—this will be my first time in a swimsuit in 16 years—but somehow I am going to do it.
