I only have pictures from before I lost weight, and they are of me in various Princess Leia slave outfits for Halloween, so I am definitely not going to post those. LOL! I like to keep up the appearance that I am not as weird as I am.

ETA: I love your enthusiasm for the holidays! My favorite time of year is early October through New Year's. I love all the holidays during that time. In fact, I've already started listening to Christmas music.

currently 37-27-37
my biggest goal for now is to have my hip measurement go down to 35 inches.
But 2 inches off my hip isn't easy since I already see my hip bones sticking out. So I guess i'm more of toning my bottom at the moment.

I have a severe pear shape going on. I'm hoping to even it out as much as possible.

Ha! I have the same pear "loveliness", just one inch larger all around.

35
31
41

Ugh, why did I measure? I was encouraged by recent weight loss but no movement in the measurement department.

Goal, for what it's worth:
bust: no goal, hopefully not lose much
waist less than 30
hips less than 40

I don't really know since I don't think I ever measured when I was smaller. I think I used to be like 34-27-38. Always a pear, just a smaller one

UPDATE 9/25/10: weight ~ 139, so only a couple of pounds lost.
37 - up
30
40
So 1" off the the waist and hips, 2"+ on the bust. IF this is true, I'll take it!

I have some observations about the weighing/measuring process. I have lost some weight recently. But really only 2-7 in the last 6 months (kinda depressing when I look at it that way). I took my measurements a few days ago. Hardly any change from my maximum, which granted was only 11-14 pounds more than I am now. But yesterday I wore jeans all day that I couldn't cram myself into at my max and that I couldn't wear comfortably a few months ago. And they looked GOOD! Photos show a shocking change in my middle section and hips. So where did it all go if the measurements are not changing much

I *guess* I could not be measuring in the same place each time? I try for Max-Min-Max for consistency and try not to worry about the bulges in between. Bust is easy. My waist is really high, so I measure where it goes in the most, and sometimes add in a measurement right at my navel and another at wherever my maximum belly is at the time (ugh, sad but true, I developed a big apple belly). Then hips - I have wide hips in addition to my actual butt, so I try to just measure where it all goes out the most. I have heard of some people measuring at their hip bones and that to me offers no information; it would be almost the same as my waist.

My theory is that it's all the "bulges in between" that have made the difference. I have less rolls in the belly region but that's hard to measure...

All I know is that I look waaaaaaay better even though the tape measure hasn't shown much progress.

Thanks for sharing that Emma! I think many times not having our measurements reflect our weight loss can really discourage us. I know it does me!! So thank you for posting that
