I have some observations about the weighing/measuring process. I have lost some weight recently. But really only 2-7 in the last 6 months (kinda depressing when I look at it that way). I took my measurements a few days ago. Hardly any change from my maximum, which granted was only 11-14 pounds more than I am now. But yesterday I wore jeans all day that I couldn't cram myself into at my max and that I couldn't wear comfortably a few months ago. And they looked GOOD! Photos show a
shocking change in my middle section and hips. So where did it all go if the measurements are not changing much
I *guess* I could not be measuring in the same place each time? I try for Max-Min-Max for consistency and try not to worry about the bulges in between. Bust is easy. My waist is really high, so I measure where it goes in the most, and sometimes add in a measurement right at my navel and another at wherever my maximum belly is at the time (ugh, sad but true, I developed a big apple belly). Then hips - I have wide hips in addition to my actual butt, so I try to just measure where it all goes out the most. I have heard of some people measuring at their hip bones and that to me offers no information; it would be almost the same as my waist.
My theory is that it's all the "bulges in between" that have made the difference. I have less rolls in the belly region but that's hard to measure...
All I know is that I look waaaaaaay better
even though the tape measure hasn't shown much progress.
