Glad to have caught this thread again and appreciate the recent discussion.

I'm back to 3FC from about a four to six month absense. I got below my original goal then decided that I totally can make it to "mid-way BMI" with a likley sustainable life to match that weight. From last August, I was just 7 pounds away from the new goal. I ended up laid up with sciatica & bad knees (restricted to no activity and walking less than 2 blocks). I'd gained a bit while sorting out that new lifestyle.

Now I'm about 10 pounds away from my goal (but I don't have a scale). I'm using August 09 "goal clothes" as my guide. My main plan is to be able to generally fit in to any size 6 (with the weird exceptions that always come with sizing). Right now, I'm able to generally fit any size 8. I can't fit the size 6 goal dress--YET--that I squeezed in to last August.

I did feel like the maintainers thread was helpful but found it's an understandably low-traffic section. I wandered a bit with Featherweights but then got hit with my injuries.

I'll check out Featherweights and look at the back messages. I dropped off 3FC when I got overwhelmed with just too many challenges, barriers, and blocks. It was probably the best time to check in with the threads but didn't feel even able to express the situation. I was quite miserable for a couple months.

Now, I'm feeling so much better both mentally and physically. So, I'm able to get back on-line. Figured out some things but still need to work on expressing both to my friends and family (and our on-line supports) the deepest feelings. Glad to have that safety within 3FC to even feel like this is easily the place to do that and I just need to work out more my own abilities to express. Know what I mean? There's so many places where it's not safe--both on-line but also in live places like my office and even some (casual) friends.
