3 lbs down this week

Very excited to have lost 3 pounds this week. I had a baby about 7 weeks ago and although I'm normally a size 4-6, I gain *alot* when pregnant (case in point, baby #1 weight gain came in at around 70 lbs, which took 2 yrs to lose). I gained 30 lbs with this baby (not bad for me!) but weight really "sticks" to me. I'm really good at maintaining - I can maintain as size 4 or a size 6 or a size 12. I'm just not great at shifting weight (unless I'm pregnant in which case I shift miraculously fast - in the wrong direction, lol!)

Anyhow, I switched my diet plan to the Eat to Live diet (Dr. Furhman), because I saw that Dr. Oz had approved of it. It's similar to the McDougall diet or the Fat Smash diet, but this is the book I bought, so this is my plan. Anyhow, one week into it, 3 pounds. I feel fantastic. I bought a Vitamix hi-speed blender and I'm doing green smoothies for breakfast and loving it. Just wanted to share my success because I'm a very slow loser when it comes to weight, so this has been fabulous!

Super!

Sunsera, good for you. Keep up the good work - it is so much easier than starting over. New baby - oh how sweet they are! I am a grandma babysitting for my 2 grandsons and they flat wear me out. That 9 month old can get across the floor almost faster than I can run after him. I just consider it my exercise!! Enjoy those children - it may not seem like it now, but one day you will look back and wonder how did it all go so fast.
