I did it!!
Yesterday I took my niece to a birthday party because my sister had to work. The party was at McDonalds, I was there for a hour and a half and did not have their food!! I did so well, I went and got my niece something but that was it... I refused to eat. I waited until I got home to eat supper!! I am so proud of myself. I was down to 138 this morning, after gaining last week from being sick and TOM... I am getting there.. slowly but surely!

I don't understand why parents hold birthday parties at fast-food restaurants. For the playground? What's wrong with the park?

Way to go!!!

WTG! I think it's hard to avoid McDonald's if you have small children. My kids, and DS14 still does, love it. I don't know if it's the playground (for DS it was) or the food. It can be hard to find indoor playgrounds in the winter. Kids just need to burn off some steam. But the longer you don't eat their food, the less you miss it. I last ate there in Dec '08 and I can still remember the oily aftertaste of the fries, which I used to love. I don't miss it. DH often takes DS there which is fine. It's their thing, not mine. But there is no way I can say no to Culver's, not ever.
