Warning my FeatherWeight Friends!
1.8 lbs and I'm coming back!:s:
That'll mean I have 20 more pounds to go. And you, my friends, are going to help me. Weekly thread? Exercise thread? |
Susan, I do not doubt that you can make it, you have had a setback, but haven't we all ? I can't speak for everyone but I have lost and regained more times than I care to remember. I wish there was some guarentee that wouldn't happen. We can always start over again. Perseverance and determination is the name of the game.

another regainer here!! On december 31st I weighted 120lbs and looked amazing... I've gained 23lbs since then!!!!!!! for the first time I went to a nutritionist on Monday and she gave me a plan. Also doing the 30 day shred exercise videos. I am having a hard time trusting someone else with my calories. All I know is I am eating the healthiest foods ever and that I do not feel deprived. This time, I am hoping my new eating habits stick.
I vow not to feel like a loser if I lose "only" 2lbs or less a week. I feel your pain susan!! lets make a weekly thread. |
on the upside, according to the doc. I'm 5'5! not 5'4.5 as I used to believe. I feel so happy.
please note the fake happiness. growing half an inch does not level the disappointment of regaining weight. |
Count me in for a weekly thread. Accountability will do me good!
|
Oh, sigh, I think I am FOREVER featherweight... I haven't lost the last 20 in at least a year and a half.... ...

Sounds great SusanB!--- woohoo :)

Yeah, I'm in!
I took the month of May off to maintain 'cause my body was rebelling at having been in "diet mode" since the new year. Did pretty well, too, and discovered that my maintenance calorie range is pretty darned high! But I have between 4 & 7 pounds left to hit my goal (depending on what day I weigh...), and I really want to get there before my 33rd birthday, which is July 3. So - I am back to weight loss mode as of today! |
i've been calorie counting since last fall, which has worked great for me, but now I am stuck...so am thinking seriously of starting Fat Smash (the original) on Monday. It might be the catalyst I need.
|
SusanB, I'm right there with you!! Up and down the scale goes. This is as close as I've been to goal in YEARS! We can do this, and maintain too!! =)
|
Hey all! I still have about 14 pounds to go and I'm doing my best to be patient, but I just want them gone! Though being healthy and taking care of myself feels amazing and I never want to give it up. Maybe people can post some plateau busting strategies?
I've also been wondering - how many weeks of seeing no weight loss do you have until you try to change something, like calorie intake or exercise? I haven't been at it long enough to really know the patterns of my body in terms of dropping weight, but what have you guys found? Keep up the great work everyone! |
The last few pounds are the hardest, I thought I would never see the last ten go, and almost settled for a higher goal weight. I stayed determinred and kept on. I really didn't change much and eventually one day I stepped on the scale and saw I was at goal. I have heard this story with variations many times. You might try upping your exercise and maybe lowering your calories.

Doing Fat Smash Phase 1 to shake things up
I realize it's probably only water weight, but I am down two pounds and this is only Day 3. :broc:
