Default Back with a vengeance!

Hello again, I had several injuries early on in the year which prevented me from working out... and when I don't workout I don't eat as clean as I should. I've put on 14 lbs as a result

I'm not 100% healed, but I have been able to get some regular exercise.

Do any of you find that when you don't exercise it's more difficult to control your diet?

It feels so good to be back

YES absolutely! i just posted a thread about that. exercising keeps me on track and i actually feel less hungry after a good workout. also since i got a work out in, i usually eat much better because i feel so on track!

Exercise definitely helps keep me on track! I do better when I get my walking/skiing/hiking in.

Welcome back!
Yes - it seems to be a "package" deal for me.

I couldn't agree more! After working my butt off to burn 300-400 calories, I'm gonna think twice (or 3 times!) about eating something that will jeopardize all that hard work! And exercising just makes me feel healthier, so I find I have fewer cravings for junk food. Sorry about your injuries. Good luck getting back on track!

same here. I do the exercise most of all for the feeling of "mental discipline" and stress release. If I don't work out I fall off the wagon....
