hi! i'm new here

I'm planning on starting the anti-estrogenic diet. I currently weigh 145lbs and would like to get down to 115lbs.

Has anyone else done this diet? Also, what kind of results am I most likely to see?

I'm exited about starting it, and also about finding this forum!

Hi, I'm new here too! I'm looking forward to gleaning info from everyone here and getting to know other people who are trying to be the best they can be.

Pretty new here too....

I've never heard of that diet, but like to hear more. I have about the same to lose!

hey kate,
the anti-estrogenic diet is set up in two week phases where certain foods are allowed in each phase. Its a pretty cool diet, and I'm planning on starting it after i do the warrior diet for a while. Both of the diets are talked about quite frequently on a forum called defense nutrition.

I've been doing the warrior diet for two days and i've already lost 3.5lbs, and i'm not someone who loses a bunch of weight when they first start a diet and none later lol, it's pretty consistent for me all of the time.

The warrior diet is intimidating to some people, because it follows the principle of 20hrs of undereating followed by 4hrs of overeating. It is supposed to simulate how an ancient warrior ate and many people have experienced amazing fat loss on it.

Welcome to the group. It's always interesting to hear new ideas.

IMHO the warrior diet doesn't sound like the healthiest thing to do. I've been doing a variation of it called "diet all week and splurge on the weekend" :p and it doesn't work over the long haul.

Thanks rayner...

it sounds intense, but I still want to try it!

its an awesome diet..especially for people with busy schedules like me..my classes typically run through lunch and i'm working all day so it's hard to find time to sit down and eat!

be careful! if you got to your goal weight of 115, at your height (5'7") you would have a BMI of a TEENY TINY very underweight 18.

Wow. That's an aggressive weight goal. I will have to research the plan as we are both the same height. For me looking in the mirror I can honestly say there is no way I could be healthy and be 115. I know everyone is different though.
