My boobs are shrinking!

  • So, I've lost about 5 pounds, and it all came from my boobs, I'm pretty sure. None of my other clothes fit any differently, but my bras are too big, and my boobs look smaller. And this is not an area I can afford to lose from...

Why couldn't it come off of my big fat gut? This is soooo frustrating!
  • I'm sorry! If it makes you feel any better, I can't wait until mine shrink! I'm a D cup and I'd love to "shrink" to a C, lol!
Maybe you could get a sexy push up bra?
  • Haha, maybe I should get a push up bra....

For now I'm just hoping when I lose the rest of my weight the rest of my body goes into proportion with my little boobies. I've always been a little on the flat side, and I carry my weight on my stomach and love handles, so "proportional" is not a word I ever used to describe myself.
  • I'm afraid it's all part of the process. It happens to pretty much all of us.....I went from a 38ddd to a 34dd. Good thing is that I can fit in to cuter tops now without the girls spilling out.
  • I'd like to be small-chested enough, so I could do jumping jacks with my pre-k students and not have them ask why my "chi-chi's" are moving. I guess "chi-chi's" is their word for boobs, lol! Aren't kids great
  • I'm in your boat, DaraMarie. And it SUCKS!!! My weight is coming off my boobs and my face, neck and arms. But I am a PEAR shape, and my butt and thighs are still big, out of proportion. I kept the weight on for awhile, thinking, at least my girls are nice, but I had to decide to make the rest of me slim, and in great shape, so the lil girlies are going to have to go. Sigh. It is NOT FAIR!!! I feel your pain, my sister.
  • Oh...I understand. I nursed both my boys for quite a while. So...the girls are trying to head south. I'm worried that if I lose all the weight I want to I will end up with essentially long flat pancakes that would flap in the breeze if I ever lost my mind and went to a nudist beach! A 32L (ie., 32 Long)

My best friend saw a woman once that is my biggest nightmare. A woman was in the grocery store. She was technically topless but wasn't showing anything but cleavage because she'd tucked her girls into her pants.

Oh, and chickybird...in my new mom's group years ago there was a woman who taught kindergarten and her husband taught high school. Their daughter couldn't say kids. She was very proud of her parents teaching. She'd go up to strangers and spontaneously blurt out "my mommy has little tits and my daddy has big tits". She was bragging but her parents didn't seem to appreciate it all that much.
  • Understand you completely. When I first started losing weight my bust measurment was 41in.... now? 36in. I'm afraid to lose one more inch. I mean, right now they are fine, but I cant afford to lose anymore!! I'd miss them so much!!
  • My fiance has been getting nervous about my continued efforts to lose. According to him, I've got nothing left to lose but the good stuff (boobs and butt). I really expected the girls to shink down as I've lost weight, but so far they've stayed pretty much the same.

My big disappointment is that my waist doesn't seem to shrink a whole lot, I really hoped for a 26" waist, but I don't think I can lose the last three inches and stay in the healthy weight range. Sigh.

    That's really gross!
  • Yes, that is a really disturbing image.
  • I have found that different parts drop size at different times. My waist and stomach were far and away the biggest losers at the beginning, but now they're being a bit stubborn. So, your chest may drop weight first, but then stabilize as you start losing elsewhere. Unfortunately, all you can do is wait and see . My experience with the chest has been strange. I know they're smaller, the bras are looser in the cup, but the measurements are not changing as much. I can only assume I'm building size in my lats - that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I know...isn't it!? I'm amazed she was allowed in the store. This was back in the early 80's too...not the 60's or 70's.
  • I wish mine would shrink a bit - in proportion to my waist and hips would be nice. I'm a size bigger in the bust than I am everywhere else, which makes buying dresses difficult.

Tried on the most gorgeous dress the ther day in a size 10 (US size 6). it fitted like a dream over the waist and hips but just couldn't fasten it over my girls.

However I am still breastfeeding my baby part-time so hopefully when she is fully weaned they will shrink a bit. No idea when that will be yet - I fed my last one till she was 14 months, and this one is not 9 months yet.

My chest size has shrunk considerably since I was pg but the cup size has gone up. I was measured at a 42DD when I was pregnant and am now a 34F. If I wear anything fitted, even if it's not designed to be sexy, I look like a porn star!!
  • It's incredibly strange that I've always wanted bigger boobs and they're appearing alot bigger since I've started to lose weight. I love it
