  • I join in the 5 lb challenges too so I'm up for this one - I might actually stand a chance of winning one of these.

I've been in Portugal for two weeks and put on 6 lbs while I was out there (which I've started losing already).

    So I'm starting at 150.

i love the idea of the challenge only being 2 lbs, its seems so reasonable - although i will admit i can easily fluctuate that much in a day or so.

I've been thinking about this too--since I know my weight fluctuates with TOM, I usually use my most recent low as my start weight. I weighed 137 on the weekend, but this morning was up 2.5 pounds from that. (Stupid TOM, why do you always make me feel fat?!?) However, I know it's all water weight, so I'm not counting going back down to 137 as losing 2 pounds, you know?

So: maybe I'd be willing to compromise--how about 3 pounds instead? Four could take me 3 or 4 weeks to lose--I'd never win!
