Exclamation Different size top/bottom

This is quite frustrating and I know I'm not the only one out here with a different size top and bottom . The top is now a small 6 and the bottom a large 8 - classic pear.

Not so bad when buying separates or casual wear but I can't find dresses that fit properly. And the frustrating part is that when I lose it all comes off the top first and no matter what I do I seem to be 2 inches too large in the bum to fit into the size that looks good on my top.

Anyone got any good butt busting exercises they like?

I find if I do light cardio, yoga, and pilates on the bottom, and put muscle on the top, I look more 'even.'
Eddie Bauer has these jeans, I think they're called curved fit. They're a size smaller in the waist than in the hip. Well-fitting clothes look good on anyone. When I look in the mirror, I think, "J-Lo, J-Lo!"

not a featherweight here, but your best bet when you have opposite sizes top and bottom is to get the size that fits the biggest part and then get your clothing taylored to fit the smaller part. It costs me about $15 to $30 to have my clothes altered

I have the opposite problem - my boobs are two sizes bigger than my hips. I think in a way that's a little easier, as I can get dresses to fit the top, and then they hang a little round the hips - looks a touch better than the reverse.

I have the same problem. I need a small top and a medium bottom. When I buy bathing suits I need to by separates so everything fits well.

Same problem! I am also a classic pear shape (blah!) and I only have 1 dress because I don't have the boobs, lol. I found that dresses which tie around the neck are the best because you can tighten them to your liking and make the top half fit better.

As for exercises, my treadmill and exercise bike are the only things that seem to work for me.
