posting my real weight

137 lbs. :o :o :o

I can't ignore this any more. I'm getting close to 140 again. I told myself I'd have 2-3 lbs. "wiggle room" but now I'm definitely in the "red zone".

Mini-goal now is to get back down to 132 - SIGH - by the end of April.

Thanks for the welcome back everyone, nice seeing new faces too here in featherweights!

Laura, thanks for the encouragment, I'm going to try for 10.5 miles this weekend!

Allison, I have no doubt that you'll work your way up in running -- I struggled with my first 5K too (Feb. last year) ~ just keep at it!

Dagmar, I'm sure you'll work your way back down - don't lose hope and perseverance!
----

I'm still trying to get adjust to DST, barely woke up early enough to get my strength exercises done in the morning. If work doesn't hold me over tonight, I'll get a good run in before dinner reservation at a neat lil spot (the restaurant specializes in fresh, seasonal, veggie-based and mostly-healthy cuisine).

Hope everyone's having a good day! :)

Tweaking what works

I'm trying something a bit different. Still counting the calories/weighing the food.

But I'm aiming for 1400 cals alternating with 1200. I hope to be less hungry overall that way.

I have dropped a lot of water since Monday. Hope the fat follows.

Dagmar, was 1200 your goal before? I am struggling even to stay at 1400 (total calories eaten; I'm completely fine once I get exercise in and calculate a net), so anyone that can eat less is really impressive.

Hi all. It seems like there's been one reason after another for my delinquent workout schedule and I feel an end in sight to the sloth.

I had a biopsy and the boobs couldn't bounce. Then with planning for my daughter's 5th birthday party got in the way and then the flu. So now, I have just about 1 full month before my trip to Jamaica. I would ideally like to be below 110 by then. I don't know how possible that is for me considering I have been on a quasi plateau for oh...5 months now. I need to shake things up. Hopefully this 30 days will shove me into reall loss mode again.

*sigh*

Yesterday I didn't really "have time" fro my cardio, but I made myself go up to do 10-15 minutes. Once I got started I talked myself into 20 minutes, then 30, then 40. At that point I said to heck with it, may as well do the 60 I wanted to get done! Success! Now I have to talk myself into it again, despite a 2 pound bump this morning in my weight despite good eating (I think it's just water).

Hello everone

What a month I've had. First the prednisone, then the flu, now we got evicted from our office this week :dizzy:. We had to get everything out of our office yesterday before they locked the doors on us. We're in the IT business, and so we just grabbed all the servers, computers and files we could and now we are all working from home. This is just insane. I guess our president had a dispute with the landlord and things just got out of hand. Fortunately, we all are able to work from home and keep things going but I also suspect that our president has a cash flow problem so I think I'll be looking for another job while I'm "working at home". This whole thing is making me nervous.

Anyway, I set my "home office" up in my exercise room where I have a treadmill, an exercise bike and a weight bench. I figure when I'm slow on the work front, I can use my equipment (which has been collecting dust for a long time). So hopefully I can drop a few pounds and get in shape for my job hunt. So tomorrow, I get back on track . . . Finally!

Hope everyone had a great day!

Well my dears, I think I'm getting my act back together. I feel more like me and now that I actually can focus, I think I'll focus on slender good health.

Not with food just yet. You don't wanna hear about the metamucil and orange juice and ..... If any of you or your'ens are thinking about Chantix, start fiber and stool softeners first!

One bright light is ... apparently a couple of weeks ago, I bought some exercise dvds on ebay. They came on Monday. Someone taught me how to use the player today. They're fun! 10 Minute Solution. I tried the Latin Dance Mix this evening. I'm a clod. But it was fun.

So while I don't feel totally normal (whatever that may be) I do feel much better. And I'm glad you're all here where I can find you.

Susan - it's good to hear you are BETTER! One day at a time!

Abby - sorry you've had such a bad time lately, but I hope you are getting back on track now!

Lekhika - Did your biopsy come out ok? Sounds a little scary!!

Hi to everyone else!

Rough week for me... again... my big event is over (a show at school that has taken lots of time), but oh, I now have to recover from it because I'm a little drained. I hate to say it, but I feel like I'm getting sick - very tired, achy, a little congested. Ugh. I just went through this a month ago.

Anyway, I know my body and soul need a break from work. I want to feel better!

Hope everyone else had a better day than me.

Trials and tribulations!

Susan - One day at a time! Glad you're feeling a bit more yourself.

Abbyin - Maybe the mess at your office has a bright side, letting you get back on track with exercise by working from your workout room!

Lekhika - Was your biopsy negative? Sounds scary!

Claire that achy, snotty cold seems to be going around. It's a short one though - about 3-5 days.

Good Thursday everyone!

Dagmar

Good morning!

Gosh it's hard to come up with a new morning routine.

walking2lose 03-13-2008 06:47 AM

Abby - Happy Birthday!!! Have a wonderful day, celebrating YOU!

Scenestealer 03-13-2008 07:17 AM

Happy birthday Abby :)

abbyin 03-13-2008 10:22 AM

Thanks everone for your birthday wishes. Another year older, ugh

Good to see you here Susan B. Like Claire said, one day at a time.

Claire - Hope your not getting that flu. It's no fun at all

Well I got my wi-fi all set up this morning so I'm good to go. I can now surf the web from any room in the house. My work load doesn't look to heavy today so I'm planning a little walk on my treadmill later.

Hope everyone has a great day. I'll check in later
