Dog drool......there is no escaping it! Just don't let him shake his head during a full drool moment! They can really fling that stuff everywhere!!!!

Just a quick note. My Mom fell, broke her leg, and is in the hospital for Christmas. She won't need surgery, just yet, though.

Allison - so sorry to hear about your mom. I wish her quick healing and not too much pain!

We are off to the in-laws - not sure whether I'll be checking in from there or not. Last time there his mom refused to let me check my email because I might open a virus on her computer. OMG... I hope I make it 4 days... wish me luck and have a wonderful Christmas (or Hanukah, or ...?)!

Jan. 1 is the day for the resolutions to begin.

BTW -Dag - did you post your Christmas pics? Did I miss them? Come on now, I really need some inspiration right now... get 'em posted!! :-)

Mom is still in the hospital and will be there over Christmas. The pain has subsided, she doesn't need surgery, but cannot put weight on her leg for 3 weeks. After that, she'll be in a cast for 6-8 weeks. As long as it mends, she won't need surgery. If it doesn't mend, they'll do a knee replacement (the break was just below the knee).

I intend to stick to my exercise routine despite the fact that I've caught a cold and my running routine makes me have to run on Christmas morning. I'm sure that I'll be back before anyone else wakes up!
