Default Daily Food Thread

i've read about others thinking of starting this, so i went ahead and did it cause i need it too. This way, if anyone is unsure about what they've eaten today ( if it was a bad choice ), or if they just need new food ideas they can look here. It's a multi-purpose thread! Besides, i need to really have someone to be accountable to and can use the outside input on my choices.

B: 2 eggs and a piece of toast
L: tomato sandwich
D: a dinner salad and a piece of cornbread.

Hi thinny - put the day in the title of the thread next time, we start a new one each day so it doesnt get too long..

B: oatmeal with tsp honey, eggbeater omelet with lowfat cheese and some leftover veggies and salsa. Coffee with hazelnut milk (which I think they are discontinuing )

B2: (I have my 1st breakfast at ~6:30 and sometimes need a nosh while giving kids breakfast) cherries, more coffee.

to be continued...

I have a ton of produce I need to use up so probably a big salad and/or maybe a stirfry for lunch

EDIT:
Or maybe instead I will have :

a.m. snack - Salad with stick cheese

Lunch - WALK to run errands, grab turkey avocado sub en route. 1/2 package sun chips, cookie. More calories than planned but also a 4.25 mile walk so probably nets out.

PM snack 2 chocolates, 3 macadamias

dinner I am going to a banquet, as I recall from last year there wasnt too much food - only downside was not ENOUGH veggies. Last year it was some dry bland chicken and bland rice and bland peas and salad and dessert. BUT we are a poor organization and its only $13 a head for a catered affair.

Misc noshing as I putter around...macadamias ~7

I have 2 canker sores on opposite sides of the mouth - (one in the back of my tongue on right side, the other being just inside my lip on the left side), so only smooth foods for me (which I found out after breakfast)

B: Muffin & Cereal (250 calories)
S: 4 Chocolate Squares (240 calories)
L: Chicken & Wild Rice Soup with extra veggies (270 calories)
S: Yogurt (110 calories)
D: Pie & Coffee (~500 calories)

Total ~1,400 calories

Ok, being quite a bit sugar-heavy today... will try to do better tomorrow.

wednesday:

b: pkt chips (180)
s: ice cream (175)
l: small potato with lowfat cream cheese (200)
s: ice cream (200)
s: 2 x crumpets with lowfat cream cheese (200)
s: chocolate (180)

I just have SUCH an aversion to healthy food right now, seem to be on the small-portions-of-junk diet.

Hi All!

So, as I said, I had friends in from out of town today and we went for sushi....so not such a good day food wise. BUT, I ate fairly lightly the rest of the day, and got a reasonable amount of exercise. I'm hoping that if I drink tonnes of water to counteract all the salt in the soy sauce, it won't have too much of an affect on my weight.

B: 1 orange/cranberry soy muffin, peach

L: 2 pieces of crispbread spread with 1TBSP peanut butter, veggie sticks with a bit of dip, 1/2 cup strawberry bran bites.

S: 1 apple

D: LOTS of sushi, and 1 scoop green tea ice cream.

*sigh* well tomorrow will have to be a better day. I am so glad that its almost friday, and the LONG WEEKEND!!!!!
