He's one of those guys who hates to buy anything for himself, yet he encourages me to get whatever makes me happy. But this more than a financial issue because he was literally in pain on that bike. He's a big guy and a mountain bike was all wrong for him: too much strain on his wrists, back, etc.
We bought him a good solid Raleigh and he has been grinning ever since. It'll be ready Tuesday. As we were leaving, he said that it felt like Christmas.
I'm so happy. He has some serious heath issues and needs to drop about sixty pounds. I've been really worried about him because we committed to a new lifestyle together, yet he's fallen by the wayside. I'm hoping that this bike will help him turn the corner since he really enjoys bike riding.
