Introducing myself
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to write a quick post to introduce myself (and check that my signature and avatar are working!). I've been struggling to lose 5-10 pounds for a while now, and feel like I've been running in place - a few "good" days followed by one or two bad ones. Getting the exercise in isn't a problem, but I know my food intake needs some work...tend to overdo it especially on weekends when I am home alone with lots of unstructured time, or when I am procrastinating on work or going to the gym. I don't have a weight loss buddy so I'm hoping an online community will help keep me accountable! Anyways, enough babbling... Goals for this week: *Eat clean - no processed food *Eat less - 1400 calories/day, 28 g fat *Eat only when hungry - If I have the urge to procrastinate, pop some gum and and come on the boards, read a book, or "just do it" already! *Stay strong - Hit the gym 5-6 times |
