Newby here!!
:carrot: Hi there cool chix! I have been looking for a site that is free and supportive and has a sense of humor...so here I am!:carrot: I have never been obese, but I have never known thin, either. I'm 5'4 and have always been around 150lb. When my husband and I got married I had managed to get down to 135lb, but ended up gaining and reaching almost 160lb. I decided that I DID NOT want to keep buying bigger clothes. So, I joined WW last year. It has been a love/hate relationship, but I have come to the conclusion that I feel best when I stick with the plan and exercise. I struggle with accepting myself where I am now. I have this nutty self talk going on in my head...one day I will say that I love my body and I don't need to lose...another day I will wonder why I can't just reach my goal once and for all. Some times I hate the way women are portrayed on magazines and other days I want to look just like them. Stop the insanity!!! :) I hope to find some cool friends here who can relate. :) ~jblossom http://www.3fatchicks.net/img/bar071...8/130/147/.png |
:welcome2:
You're definitely not alone. I've had those very same thoughts (nutty self talk included) and my stats are pretty similar to yours. I've been on this site for close to a year now, and I have found so much support and advice here that I feel 3FC is a big reason why I've been able to be successful this time around. I wish you all the best and keep posting. :D |
Thanks for the encouragement:) It's good to know that I'm not alone. I'm really excited to make it work this time!
Congrats on your weight loss! That's awesome:) http://www.3fatchicks.net/img/bar071...8/130/147/.png |
 Hi jblossom!
Welcome to 3FC |
 Jblossom :wel3fc: ...
3FC has been the reason I am successful, but I still need to lose the last 10-15#, I'd be glad with 10#... |
