Are these allowed Phase 1?
Since oatmeal & rice is allowed, can anyone find anything on polenta, grits or barley or hominy? I was thinking if I had grits for breakfast or added barley to my soups, I wouldn't eat the brown rice. Also I love hominy. Any thoughts? Lem

I checked the data base at another group and Dr. Ian answered the grits question. You can have it just like oatmeal. I cup. As far as the hominy goes isnt that corn? I dont know about anything else. Sorry.

Thanks...yes it is like corn but the nutrition values are different so i just wanted to check. Good to hear on the grits! Lem
