As if I wasn't weird enough, someone laughed at what I called "going with a list to a store to buy food"

So, what do you call it?

I call it... going to buy groceries. I always say.."I gotta go buy groceries."

From one weird person to another :

I think I say something like "I gotta go do some food shopping"

Once in a while I say I need to go buy food :)

I always say I have got to go and get some groceries or some food. Or if IM not looking forward to going...I gotta get some @#$% for the house!

Hmm...I think it says something about how food-centered my life is that all I need to do is announce that "I am going to THE store" and all is understood.

I think my mom does the same thing!

I usually say that I'm going grocery shopping, but sometimes I say I need to go buy food.

LOL! Grocery shopping!

I say "GO TO THE STORE", DH immediately knows that means he better have put money in the house account.:)
