i saw on another forum that veggie slices cheese (cheese alternative) is allowed...is that true??

It should be fine. I've never bought them, so I'm not familiar with the nutritional profile. It's a soy product, right? Would you use it as a protein?

as long as it's only contents are soy, veggies and herbs/spices then yes. But if it has gluten and other things, then no.
