Default ideas for oatmeal?

Good morning, I'm a new fat smasher (starting today ). I fixed the oatmeal but, oh my...bland oatmeal didn't do it for me. I added cinnamon, nutmeg and apple pie spice just to see if it would help but still really bland....any suggestions? Thanks!

I add frozen bilberries or raspberries to mine.

Any kind of fruit is good. I had a nectarine in mine the other day, along with some walnuts, and it was GOOD! I usually have raisins and walnuts.

Sorry. They're called blueberries over here.

BTW, I don't think dried fruit and nuts are allowable foods during phase 1.

I like to add between 2 and 3 ounces of yogurt, I really like it with the peach yogurt..Reminds me of the instant peaches in cream.

This may sound odd....but I have been putting 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal into my smoothie....you cannot even tell it is there.

1 banana
1/2 cup oats
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 frozen blueberries
1/4 - 1/3 cup fresh oj
1 cup nonfat PLAIN yogurt
ice...

I love this.
