Default Day 1 Phase 1

Hi everyone!

I've just finished day 1 of phase one. The hardest part for me was the no coffee thing. I did get the headache but thank God it's finally gone.

I wanted to see what you all thought about something. I found this program to be similar in alot of ways (foodwise) to the WW Core plan - exept phase 1 being more stricked. Let me know what you think.

I love Fat Smashers It seems like a no no-nonsense plan.

Wish me luck on my phase 1 journey and I wish all of you luck right back!

Pam, I haven't tried the brown rice past yet. I'm still staring at the package, lol. I bought it at Kroger in the natural foods section. The brand is Tinkyada, Pasta Joy. Buttercup, if you try yours first, let us know what you think

Welcome all the newbies! Good luck, and please post here regularly so we can all share ideas for getting through this diet and making it successful for all of us. If you have problems with it, please don't give up without asking for support first

I'm a diet Coke addict as well. I usually would drink 2-4 a day, plus coffee (decaf). I had a headache day 2, but not enough to take meds. It only lasted that day, now no cravings or anything. Good luck!!

Day 9 tomorrow. Stayed on plan again today with a 30 minute walk!

I'm so anxious to weigh in on Thursday!!!

Morning, fellow Smashers!

Day 3 of Phase I for me, and I'm going strong. I am DYING to look at the scale, but I am trying to hold back. Hopefully there will be some good results. I already feel different!

Day 9 here! WOOHOO! I'm going to finish this week (thru Friday) on Phase I, since I have a lot going on this weekend. I get on the scale tomorrow morning! ACK! I'm hoping to be down 5. That would make me really happy!

Default Phase 1 question

I saw the question about the low fat yogurt (can it be flavored or do it have to be plain) but never saw the answer. If someone can give me that that would be great.

The other question I have is I know we can't have coffee YIKES! but can we have decaf coffee? I know the main issue is with the caffine.

Day 2, Phase 1 and still rockin'

Hi,

Seems you are all doing good. I'm still hanging in there.
I wish I could find the rice pasta. I may just have to order it from the website although I would like a review before I do so.

Today is my last day of Phase I. I will weigh myself tomorrow morning. I also find myself not hungry. There are times I have to make myself eat. Wow what a change is that.

Ladybug, I don't know that answer for the yogurt but I bought fat free this week and have been eating that. And I did get the fruit type.

He doesn't mention decaf in the book. Actually, a lot of things are rather vague and we have to do a little guessing along the way. I think decaf coffee would be ok

As far as I know, flavored yogurt was not mentioned as being allowed because it contains artificial sweeteners, which he wants us to avoid or strictly limit due to the detox. However, if you are not as interested in the detox as you are in the overall weight loss, then flavored yogurts should be fine, as long as you don't choose the ones with added sugars. I have not avoided artficial sweeteners, though I have tried to limit them because I'm trying to retrain my tastebuds, lol.

I weighed in this morning and I lost 6 pounds during Phase 1
