9lbs in 9 days!
Okay this diet totally works! It's hard, no doubt, and you get frustrated of eating beans but can I tell you how great it feels to see the results. Today is my last day of Phase I and I'm now at 201!! I can't wait until I'm under 200..
So my question for all the Smashing experts out there.. does the weight loss continue like this in Phase II? |
Congratulations!!:D
The loss will probably slow a little. It is a strict program so stick to it if you want to continue to see results. There will come a point when your body needs to adjust to the loss.:) |
Good for you
I can tell you, by comparison, that I started the diet on Feb 5. I lost 11 lbs by the end of phase I. This morning, I'm down a total of 17 lbs. That's 17 days, and 17 lbs. However, I started heavier than you (284 lbs). I've been completely rigid about the diet, and I'm doing it vegetarian. KEEP GOING!!!!.

I'm intrigued. Have never heard of this before. Sounds like it might be worth a try!

I was skeptical and started the diet intending to only go through phase 1 as a springboard to getting back in shape. I lost 20 lbs in p1 and am now in p3. I've lost 35 lbs since 1/12 and have cheated a handful of times. I've gotten 100x more out of this diet than I ever would have thought, and stump for it to everyone who tells me how different I look. 5 or 6 people from work have started the diet and there are a couples copies of the book always floating around.

my weightloss completely slowed down.. I went from 9lbs in 9 days, to now 11lbs in 14 days.. still good.. but not as great as before. I'm realistic though, the first loss was way too much to be healthy to sustain. If I lose 2lbs a week I should be happy.
