Default New, I need a buddy to help me through and question about shopping list.

hey everyone! my name is Michelle and i'm new to the board. i've recently ordered the fat smash book and am waiting for it to arrive in the mail. i don't have a good reason for trying this diet, i'm just hoping not to add it to the list of diets i've failed at. it's hard to find support from my friends and family when trying to accomplish weightloss. i'm not overweight by any means so everyone around me disagrees with my efforts. before college and before having a steady boyfriend i weighed about 125lbs and was comfortable with my body. since then i have gained about 20 lbs due to a lack of exercise, a love for dessert, and eating out on a daily basis. in the past year i've tried nutrisystem, medifast, numerous pills, and other diets and have gotten nowhere. and it's really hard when i live with a guy who can consume frozen pizzas, wings, chips, etc daily and not gain an ounce. i've become very depressed and it's caused me to become extremely uncomfortable with my body. sadly its effected my relationship with my boyfriend, friends, family, my career, my whole life. i would really like to find someone to help me, encourage me, and support me through my efforts in trying this diet. any takers? haha. away from all the seriousness...my name's Michelle. i'll be 24 very soon, from pennsylvania. i love to travel, love all types of music, and sports.

i don't know if anyone can help me since i haven't received my book yet. I wanted to go shopping tomorrow so i could start Monday. i'm not sure about the details of the first phase. i was wondering what kind of yogurt is okay? is dannon light and fit ok? what about hummus? do i have to make my own? or is the store bought okay?...i'm not sure what addatives are okay? and what about no calorie sweetner? can i have diet sodas? what are the limitations on sodium? if anyone can help thanks!!! my book should come Monday i hopeeeeeee.

Default starting too

Hi,

I am going to buy my book tomorrow. First I was looking around to see if anyone could actually get through the detox. I have never detoxed in my life, but you all seem to have success with it, so I will be starting too. Don't give up because I am counting on you to keep me from chickening out.
