Type 1 Diabetic Fat Smashers

I was just wondering if there were any type 1 diabetic fat smashers out there. I am thinking of starting this diet and was wondering how it has worked out for others. I bought the books yesterday and it sounds like something I could do. I would just like another perspective on the subject. I am most nervous about the detox phase and low blood sugars. Any advice or comments?
