Okay, girls! I know this has been quiet lately, probably because of the holiday and people going on vacation, or it's because you're like me. I have been horrible lately with eating and working out. I figured I'm back to Phase I on Monday morning. I really need consistency in my life; which is the complete opposite of what it's been. Lots and lots of stress. Hopefully I can get some routine going on soon and get into the swing of a healthy eating plan. Oh my! How is everyone else doing?

Hey Annie... I'm doing okay with workout. I haven't been sticking to the plans anymore because I did get discouraged from not losing as much weight. I was really bad over the weekend, but still saw 0.4 lbs of loss. Tomorrow is my actual weigh-in so we will see how it goes.

Although I'm not following the plan, eating lots of veggies and fruits stuck with me so I am still eating healthier than before.

HELLO LADIES!!!! Long time no chat! =]
Oh my goodness... I have not wrote since I left for my cross country drive! Which went great (except all the fast food). But no break downs, accidents or anything like that! I'm in South Carolina now living with my best friend, her sister and father and I have DEFINITLEY fell off the wagon!!!! Ever since I left I've ate a lot more fast food/junk. Which I never use to eat fast food... EVER.
It's so much harder now (as if it wasn't hard enough) because I have no money (until I get on my feet again) and so I have to eat what is supplied, which they are naturally skinny... so they eat all JUNK. Serisouly I've never seen so much junk food!!! Like everything you can imagine is in these cabinets. And it's like I'm always hungry. Anyways the move was great, and I really like it so far. They just moved in a new house so I'm having fun decorating and helping out... also job hunting! I'll try to start checking in again! Bye everyone!!
HOPE ALL IS WELL!!!!!

jillnicole- I can totally understand about the money aspect! It is really expensive to eat healthy! I swear yesterday I bought only 4 bags of food to get me through the week for like 70 bucks...my fav treat is cherries and they are like 4 bucks a pound! I can eat one bag a day! So I get your frustrations. Just do what you can do now and when you get on your feet just start following the plan again!

Hi everyone, I am back and ready!!!
Life has been a mess, kind-of... Lets see where to start.
My husband lost his job in March and things are just crazy, we have decided to move to Michigan next summer (2009) so we are in the process of selling our house and trailer. I have to figure out what I am doing about school, which seems to be finishing online. I am watching 4 other kids for the summer, with mine that makes 7. To say the least I have found little time to exercise.

**this week I am back on track.
My Menu for today
B: Oatmeal cookies and green tea
S: apple
L: brown rice, beans, green chilies
S: carrots with eggplant hummus
D: Brown rice, meatless meat with natural marinara sauce and spinach
S: frozen grapes

I am determined to stay on plan, it is nice to be back and I wish everyone the strength to stay focused. Yeah!!!!

Hey LighterLou
I saw that you are moving to Michigan. Do you have any family members here? I am in Michigan right now and the economy and job market is very difficult. Hope everything goes well for you and for your family. My bf moved last year and it took some time before he could get a job but I know if you know someone it's a lot faster and easier.

Tara, Yes, I do have family in Michigan, My sister and her family are there, we will be staying with them until we get settled. I grew up there and want that type of life for my boys. California never grew on me!!! We live in Bakersfield and the air is terrible! We need a healthier life for our family. we are preparing now to make the transition easier!

Jen-I'm with ya on the no support. My family loves fast food and/or foods I shouldn't be eating. Now that I'm am eating different, I get a lot of wrinkled noses and groans about what they are going to eat. Since my kids are preteen and older and my husband is gone on training, I say "find something". I know-heartless but until I get through detox, I can't set myself up for failure. I already did over the 4th when I bbqed ribs.
I have been trying some of the recipes and so far I have liked them all. I love the oatmeal pancakes. Easy to eat on the go. I need to lose 15 pounds in 30 days before I see my husband again. It's questionable
Anytime you want to chat, I'm here.
Whoopdedo-Great Job!!! May I be so lucky!!!
