Where's the Pork??
Hey fellow smashers. Day 7 of Phase 1 and I'm getting prepared for the merge into Phase 2 by planning my meals for the week. I'm finding a lot of fun recipes for chicken. I also found a great recipe for pork loin with an apricot salsa topping that I really want to make in Phase 2, but the book doesn't mention pork as one of the meats allowed. I don't even see it introduced in Phase 3 or 4.
Does anyone know when pork is allowed?:o Tomorrow morning is my first weigh-in! (crosses fingers) |
i dont know about pork because I dont eat it anyways.. but I just wanted to say I am crossing fingers for you too! I snuck in a weigh in yesterday ( day 2 lol) and I was 2lbs lighter but Im not charting progress until the end of the week!

I know, I totally wanted to wait until the full 9 days of detox were up to weigh in, but I so desperately need to see those numbers. Plus, I don't want my progress to be thrown out of whack for counting a week and a half instead of the regular week. I can't wait to move my weight tracker! That is such a motivation for me, lol. :D:D:D |
I had to look at the scale too because this is a difficult week, Im kinda bored with the same food, so I needed reassurance that it was working even though I feel lighter and tighter today I peaked again and I am down 4lbs, so thats 1lb a day.. and Im not starving ( the first day I was hungry) but not anymore, its water retention anyways from cutting back on all the sodium :)
