breakfast for lunch?
 
is there any reason why you cant have your breakfast at your lunch time and vice versa?...i usually just eat oatmeal or cheerios for breakfast...but i had my lunch after my work out today just to get the right nutrients in my system for my body after the work out...any reason why i cant have the oatmeal or cereal at my next meal?

I think its just a social stigma. There are just some foods one does not consume at certain times during the day.

Me, I dont give a toss, so long as I stay within range calorie wise, I'll eat what my tummy craves when it craves it.

ie, My dad used to always make my sisters and I pancakes for dinner on a friday night. He'd do some bacon and eggs as well.

I think breakfast foods are designed more to keep you full and satisfied till lunch whilst giving you the nutrients you need to get your body jump started. So long as it fits your diet plans, then go for it!

I frequently take breakfast into work as my lunch...I got some strange looks at first but hey...I like it! :)

I'll often have porridge because it just hits the spot so well, or homemade muesli with low-fat yoghurt, or apples cut up with yoghurt topping or ham and egg "mircowave" muffins, special K with yoghurt, vegemite toast etc etc for either breakfast lunch OR dinner.

Food is food...whatever time you're eating it :)

We get so @$%@%^@^% bogged down in perfectionism (don't know if that is a word, but you all know what I mean!!!)..or else, in the "magic" of a diet--thinking we have to follow it's "magic" to the letter, we lose sight of the fact that FS is a very, very healthy way to eat, and if we do it, it doesn't matter what time of day we eat what, or even if we follow it it perfectly and to the letter................if we eat FS (and I am saying FS, not EFS) then we will be eating healthier than 95% of the country, and we WILL LOSE FAT!!!

Now, let's us all commit and just DO IT!!

I agree - eat whatever meal you want whenever! There's nothing better than breakfast for dinner, in my opinion!! :)

I eat breakfast food anytime. It's actually my favorite type of dinner.

Also I eat my oatmeal and fruit sometimes for lunch.
