Yet Another Newbie

  • Hey all. My Fat Smash Diet book finally came in the mail (I ordered it six weeks ago *sigh*), so hi! I'm new to this and cannot wait to see if I get the same results I've been reading about from you all.

    DH says he wants to try it with me, so we'll see. It's either going to be really good, because he won't be eating things I can't have in front of me. Or it's going to be really bad, because he'll do something bad and drag me down with him.

    And 9 days of not weighing myself? Omigosh...DH's going to have to hide the scale from me, lol. I usually weigh twice a day.

    Glad to meet you all and I hope to join you in Phases II and III soon!
  • Welcome! Phase 1 is not as bad as it looks. Durning my 9 days, i was never hungry...the fruits and veggies, along with the oatmeal and rice filled me up almost all the time. The only problem i had was i didn't exercise enough...i think if i would have...i would've seen better results...i just finished phase 2 week 1 today and i'm down 5.8lbs...feeling better about myself and hoping for a more drastic weigh in next week....im gonna kick my butt into gear and work out harder!

    I too had a very hard time with not being able to weigh myself at least 2 times a day. my husband had to hide my 2 scales from me. Around day 5 I decided to try and find them and he caught me! I really think I found not weighing in harder than the actual diet!
    Enjoy the diet when you start, I have found that i haven't been hungry and have eaten really well. Check out the recipe thread, there's some great stuff there!
